Dr. Kayani truly is the best doctor ever!!
I’ve been coming to Dr. Kayani for more than a decade and would strongly recommend! He is so kind and genuinely invested in each patient’s health and wellbeing.
Dr. Kayani is pretty good. My family switched to him after Dr. Paltoo left family practice to Urgent Care. Dr. Kayani has great personality and very knowledgeable. I feel comfortable with him as a doctor. We never had any issues scheduling a quick sick appointment when needed. That being said, I want to address couple common concerns people always talk about. Billing or coding - this one cannot be used against Dr Kayani as he is not the one who is taking care of billing. His staff is! Or FL medical staff to be exact. Yeah we had issues with improper coding before too but it's not Dr Kayani's fault. Too many patients, not enough time. Again, Dr. Kayani is an employee of FL Medical and doesn't control the number of patients he sees daily. He is not the one who decides how much time he gets with each patient. This is really out of his control too. I bet he spends even more time in the evenings doing all paperwork like any doctor nowadays. So, he is working hard under circumstances he has being a part of huge medical business. My kids are outgrowing pediatrician and will be switching to Dr. Kayani care soon, and I don't have any doubts about him providing the best care as he has been doing for my family (myself and my husband as well as my parents) for many years now. He is truly one of the best family doctors within FL Medica! P.S. to people complaining about Dr. Kayani, switch to Dr. Mardo. She is absolutely horrible from any aspect, poor bedside manner, lack of knowledge, lack of interest in your care, you are truly a number to her as she doesn't even recognize you after number of back to back visits. She doesn't even read patient's history...
He is thorough and complete in his care
Dr Kayani is in fact a nice man and is very respectful. I personally think he is also knowledgeable and approachable. HOWEVER, he tends to be about 10-25 minutes late, and when he deals with me he seems to be in a hurry. The feedback I get from my blood work is given to me via a phone call from his assistant or via message through a portal. Quite frankly the feedback I received was as if my condition wasn't a big deal when it is a big deal. The impersonal handling of my condition led me to believe this doctor sees way too many people and won’t consider anything wrong with you until you are literally sick. His assistants also make him look bad as they literally just send you two sentences regarding your results, they don’t answer your questions and simply treat you like a number. If you want to have a doctor that does absolutely everything to make you feel that he and his staff have absolutely no compromise with your health go to Dr. Kayani. Again, nice guy knowledgeable but also a gaslighter and poor advisor. I need a doctor not a medication salesman.
I have been seeing Dr Kayani since the inception of FMC in LoL. This man has taken great care of me through thick and thin and is always receptive to my concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and I always do!
I went to see this guy after reading all the good reviews. That was a COLOSSAL mistake. His attitude is the worst. I have never encountered such a jerk in the medical community. He had no patience with me when I tried to tell him about my issues, to the point of raising his voice. He acted like I was bothering him and was in a big hurry to conclude the appointment. It's important to feel comfortable with a physician and my experience with this doctor was very upsetting.
I’ve been going to Florida Medical for many years and have never had a bad experience. Dr. Ray was my doctor and Dr. Kayani was my husband’s. When Dr. Ray retired I went to Dr. Kayani and have had nothing but excellent care from him. My husband had a rare disease and Dr. Kayani worked closely with his neurologist at USF and other doctors within FL Medical to see that he got excellent care. I recommend Dr. Kayani and FL Medical to all my friends and neighbors. The staff in his office are very friendly and helpful. An all-around excellent experience.
Professional, bedside manner, great lighting skills.
Excellent diagnostician - demonstrates excellent care and is empathetic for his patients issues and how they impact health

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
