We were sent to Dr Cruz on a last minute appointment from our regular pediatrician who was unavailable. Dr Cruz was hands down the best pediatrician we’ve had (and we’ve had quite a few). My son who started going to her at 2 years old was very nervous around doctors and she was always very patient and made him and myself feel comfortable. We started bringing our other son to her right away after he was born and no matter how many times we came in for “silly” questions she never made us feel that we were a bother. She always throughly explained everything and made sure we actually understood before sending us on our way. Between both of the boys we’ve gone to Dr. Cruz for eczema, speech delay, allergies, HFM, you name it. We have recently moved and having a hard time finding anyone who comes close to Dr Cruz for our kids. The office staff and nurses have also always been wonderful, welcoming, and pleasant to encounter.

Dr. Cruz is great! She’s very kind, patient, knowledgeable and caring. Especially for this first time mom that worries too much and knows just enough medicine for her own good. I’m glad I found her, and I’m very glad she’s just across the street from me! Baycare is lucky to have her, and so is my child.

The best experience for us, thank you Dr Cruz and her LPN. They were receptive and friendly with my daughter, recommend them 100%. Any bad review must be for a reason other than the attention of the Periatrician and her assistants.

Dr. Mercedes is such a friendly and compassionate provider. My son is on the autism spectrum and he felt comfortable and safe to share with her his feelings. She was patient and went above and beyond to ensure our questions were answered, and that we had what we needed. If you were looking for a doctor you will be happy for making the right choice.
