List of Alan D Feldman's Reviews
He only spoke for less than 10 minutes and asked what I was going to do for a vacation. I had to be careful what I said or he would get upset so usually ask him about himself. He said he was no longer going to be my doctor. I know more about him than he knows about me because I asked him questions. He gets upset easily.
Very poorly qualified This man has no concept of compassion or empathy. I checked myself into West Tampa to be treated for depression. He called my pain management doctor that I had for YEARS and got me kicked out of there. Told them he thinks I’ll off myself on the pills. Meanwhile he gave me a bunch of prescriptions himself?! Does that make sense? His pills are good, everyone else’s are bad? I have a severe spinal cord injury, I have had seven surgeries on my spine, I walk with an assistive device, and can not even dress myself in the morning or complete simple tasks without medication to manage my chronic pain. I had to go an excruciating month and a half without any medication while I found another pain management specialist. The feeling I got from him was that he was judgmental and did not truly care. HUGE difference from my routine psychiatrist. Then I got a bill from him for $970! I have Medicare and Medicaid which covers 100% of my medical visits! Save yourself the trouble!

Cruel, judgmental and zero empathy or bedside manner. Then sent me a bill for $970! I have Medicare and Medicaid which covers 100% of my visits. I will be contacting Medicare to report fraud. Save yourself the trouble! There are much more qualified psychiatrists out there. If I could give less than one star I would. Save yourself the trouble.

This man has no concept of compassion or empathy. I checked myself into West Tampa to be treated for depression. He called my pain management doctor that I had for YEARS and got me kicked out of there. Told them he thinks I would off myself on the pills. He saw me for literally FIVE minutes! How can he make that determination? Meanwhile he gave me a bunch of prescriptions himself?! Does that make sense? His pills are good, everyone else's are bad? I have a severe spinal cord injury, I have had seven surgeries on my spine, I walk with an assistive device, and can not even dress myself in the morning or complete simple tasks without medication to manage my chronic pain. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the trouble!
I have seen Dr Feldman before he did help me when I was going through problems with my oldest son now it’s my youngest son and I’m having a hard time calming down. I just wondered if you could help me again.
I met Dr. Alan D Feldman MD 18 years ago at Memorial Hospital. He is one of a kind. He is just as kind and warm now as he was then. He always knows by talking to you if you need to stay on the same medication or change them. That is because he honestly does love what he does and cares about each and every patient. He truly is one of a kind. Lots of Love, Nancy Gaebel Ps. His staff is Great as Well. Thank you for all of your hard work....
It seems the new phone number I just got is connected to an individual who was previously treated here. I am now getting collection calls from this practice. Their obvious desire to care more about money than the people they serve says a lot about them. Also seems like this might be a HIPAA violation because I shouldn’t be privy to a strangers medical records.
To start, I don’t feel as if he really listens to the issues. When you make an appointment, it’s just for that day, not for an actual time. He was late to every single appointment that was made. Not just 10-15 min, but minimum of 30min late to every appt. But then they would check you in early for appt if he was running ahead of schedule. No sense of respect for anyone’s time. Then the one time I can’t accommodate them being 30+ min late to an appt, I’m dropped. We had one last appt and didn’t care to follow up for it. Completely blown off. The girls are rude in the office to even try to talk to and he doesn’t care about your health. Advice: go elsewhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
