Ashok Patel's Online Review Report Card

I ended up fortunate to have an understanding & empathic physician like Dr Ashok Patel. Recently, I was diagnosed with a form of blood cancer that completely shook me up. Dr A. Patel understands and listens to me like most physicians don't. He gives me hope and makes me feel at ease. I wasn't sleeping, eating, or engaging in social activities. Through Dr. Patel's guidance, proper advice & medication, i'm now dealing with things much better than I was. I look forward to our appointments and feel I can trust him. He's easy to talk to as well. Contrary to other reviews, I highly recommend Dr. Ashok Patel.

He's a guesser

Dr Patel is a very understanding and kind physician. He takes the time to listen to what I'm saying. Not only does he listen intently, but he gives me the wisdom and experience of his many years of treating patients which is invaluable to me. An anxiety disorder can and was a disabling condition in my case. As I work with Dr Patel I'm making progress. I didn't get this way overnight so I have to work at getting better one day at a time. With the help of Dr Patel, I'm learning how to live again. His staff have been extremely polite and are there to help me (and have) if I need them.

This is the worst dr ever. He's supposed to be a psychiatrist and never made me feel heard. He charges a full visit for telephone visit that lasts all of 3 minutes. Staff is horrible and you better hope you don't ever has a billing issue. All of the calls go to a foreign call center with no professionalism. Multiple people call monthly demanding my credit card info, I received 6 calls in a months period 4 in one week asking for my credit card information. Fraudulent

Horrible person Repeated calls from foreign call centers demanding my credit card information. I got 8 calls in one month 4 in one week. When I tried to talk to Dr about it he kicked me from his practice. Paid co-pay then kicked out.

no empathy. why can't I put no stars take heed, not one good review. Last visit I had with him I begged for help. He asked me was I thinking of killing myself. I'm 73 and I said no because I am starving anyway so let nature take it's course. He replied, well if that's the way you want to go.

Terrible doctor that's won't even look up at you when he talks. Staff can't figure out billing to save their life. Can't even get staff manager Sara to call back. Stopped paying their bill and switched providers to stop their mess.

If you are truly ill and need help just pass on by. No real help here. His answer to everything going on in your life...." that's life". If you suffer from crippling anxiety or bi- polar he will give you an antihistamine 10mg. No empathy. Doesn't care even a little. He should be ashamed but he is not. no stars from me

Terrible psychiatrist Worst psych I’ve ever met. Completely uninterested in the patient’s welfare. Completely unconcerned that office never returned three phone calls after he failed to update a prescription and my daughter ran out of medicine. He immediately blamed the pharmacy.

Dr. Patel lacks compassion for his patients, and utterly failed my daughter after doubling her dose of an antidepressant but failing to renew her Rx early enough to finish the month. Three calls to their office got no response, and she went off the Zoloft cold turkey. When I brought this up at the next meeting, he IMMEDIATELY blamed CVS. I do not recommend him.
