Dr. Burke was Awesome. The entire hip replacement process was so much easier and pain free than we expected. Definitely will be telling all my friends and family!

Dr. Burke has fixed my frozen shoulder, 2 yrs ago- fixed two different trigger finger problems..., and most recently my total knee replacement. Its been 2.5 mo. after knee surgery, and I am almost normal: Dr. Burke said I am in the top 5% of his recovery patients: I'll be honest, the first week was rough: each week got better. I still have some work to do at home on this recovery, but the 6 wks of phys. therapy at Cora helped me so much. Great doctor/surgeon and staff. A++++

I was looking up Dr Burke's information so I could refer him when I realized I should have submitted an excellent review a few years ago! The second time that I had frozen shoulder, I went to Dr Burke to see if there existed any alternative pain relief (other than the very painful injection I had from a different ortho physician from another facility years prior). Dr Burke assured me that it should not have hurt if it was done correctly, and that it would not hurt if I allowed him to do the injection. The pain was too much to bear, so I trusted him. 100% PAINLESS! I'm not exaggerating; I truly didn't know that he was finished! Clearly, I strongly recommend Dr. Burke!

Excellent services!!! Good at explaining everything In horrible pain with fractured wrist and set up surgery and less then 1 week after initial visit the pain was mostly gone.

I liked Dr Burke and trusted him. What a mistake! He said my hip “exploded” and he did a replacement. I woke up unable to feel my entire leg. He said it would get better he said they irritated my sciatic nerve during surgery. I went through hell! Constant nerve pain and the loss of use of my foot. He seemed to care and continued to treat me and tell me that I would get better. After a year he seemed to want to “get rid” of me. Guess it’s not good for business to have a patient with such horrible results! Then when I requested my records I found he had LIED on more than one occasion. It has been over two years. I have been seen by two other doctors both who think I never needed the hip replacement at all!!! Burke NEVER showed me an X-ray! I know, stupid in my part. My life is forever changed. I am in constant pain. I used to walk 5 to 8 miles a day. Now every step I take hurts. My foot does not work like it should. I wish I had known that Burke was NOT a “stand up guy” when things go wrong. I write this because I wish I had been warned.

The worst bedside manner. Sends you home the same day (knee replacement) with no instructions for a lay person to keep you comfortable (pain wise) and care for you properly. It’s been six months since my surgery, and still can’t sleep through the night for the pain. He has no explanation?

If I could rate him less than zero I would. He did a hip replacement on me in 8/2019! I woke up and couldn’t feel my leg! He said he irritated my sciatic nerve and it would be fine in a few weeks. The weeks became months. Here I am over 2 years later in worse pain than before the surgery. I need a brace to walk. My life has forever changed for the worse. The constant pain is draining. I recently had another orthopedic who questions if I even NEEDED a hip replacement!! My right hip started to hurt like my left and it is bursitis! Do NOT trust this doctor. He SEEMED so nice but when things go wrong, it’s clear he wants you to go away. If you do go, demand to see your X-rays and his office notes. When I finally got his notes I found they did not agree with what he said!! At one point I went to a neurologist. Dr Burke had told us that he spoke with this doctor and he that I would be better in several months. This doctor said he said no such thing, that my nerve was “smushed” and would probably never get better!! Do NOT trust this doctor! I am sure he often gets it right BUT when he doesn’t he does not want to deal with it .

I've had a full hip replacement surgery back in May of 2020. This was decades in the making. I found Dr Burke as a referral from my primary. I went for my initial consult and from that first moment, I felt comfortable. Dr Burke is VERY easy to talk to, he listens and takes the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. The surgery was amazing! There was NO PAIN. Not afterwards. Was it uncomfortable? Sure, for a few days. He had me out of the hospital the SAME DAY and my physical therapy started the very next day. I've followed the regimen and have gotten back my life! My quality of life has improved 1,000 times over and I couldn't be happier!! His office staff is AMAZING! The bone on bone pain was gone INSTANTLY from when I woke in the recovery room and every day I get stronger and gain a bit more mobility! It has now been just over 3 months, after another follow up and Dr Burke couldn't be happier with the results. I had to hug him for giving me back my life! I have already and would continue to recommend him for anyone needing an Ortho Surgeon!
