List of Brian Lake's Reviews
I was referred to Dr. Lake by my PCP due to concerning labs. I’ve had two appointments with Dr. Lake. He is condescending and made me feel like my concerns were silly and basically told me that he couldn’t help me. I called to cancel an appointment a few days in advance and spoke to someone at the front desk. That call must’ve not been recorded as I was called the day before the appointment to confirm and informed the person that I had already cancelled. She said there was no record of that and I will be charged a $35 no show fee because I didn’t cancel more than 24 hours in advance. I have been harassed for months to pay this no show fee that I should never have been charged. I understand that mistakes are made—this is a VERY busy office. But they refuse to remove the charge from my account that is a mistake on the office’s part. I will not be returning and do not recommend Dr. Lake Endocrinology.
Find another endocrinologist as they TRULY don’t want your business. You must go online and fill out ALL of your medical information for them to review and DECIDE if they want you. Anthony called me back and said he would need an order from my PCP before he schedules an appointment. I explained the pain I am in and how I am struggling. Why did you have me provide confidential health information as a new patient while your office decides whether i am “sick” enough to be seen. Yes you read that correctly! The young receptionist Anthony told me i need a letter from my Dr (even though I have a PPO and can make my own decisions) to PROVE I am not well. Who needs this awful aggravation trying to make an appointment to GET WELL. They truly do make it super difficult to even be seen. Trust these reviews that say this office is very difficult.
Dr. Lake is an exceptional doctor. He took me in as he patient to care for a condition I have had for years and he has worked with me to get the medication straight so I can feel better. He is professional and has a nice manner about him. His staff is also friendly and kind. I appreciate the virtual appointment I had this month. Being able to flex during these times is what I call going above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks Dr. Lake!
Dr Lake is very personable and thorough. After having a horrible experience with another office he got my numbers corrected for my thyroid and has regulated my dosage through two pregnancies now. His entire staff is friendly and his office runs in a very timely manner.
Great doctor! I have had issues with my thyroid for many years, and I was never told to take the Synthroid all by itself because other medicines can effect how well it works. I have always taken my thyroid meds with all of my other medications. This should be interesting 🤔
Friendly staff, clean office, always on time, doctor Lake is a great doctor and very easy to talk to. Great bedside manners.
Doctor and staff were great! I highly recommend him. I know because I have been in the medical field for 30 years managing the office for a neurologist.
Friendly and efficient staff. They were very attentive to my needs and concerns.
Everyone, from the front desk back, are amazing.
My husband has been gooing to Dr. Lake's practice for about 4 years. We had heard it was very hard to find a reliable endocrinologist so we feel so fortunate to have found him. He is so knowledgeable about all issues of his practice, and is very compassionate as well. His P.A., Kim, is amazing! We've seen her the last few times and love her. We can't say enough good things about this practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
