This office is rude and unorganized. They told me they do second opinions they knew my story that I had a shunt from a previous doctor and everything. I did my paperwork got my disc etc. but the day before my appointment they call me to tell me they don’t adjust other people’s work. Then they decide to discuss my case only to call back to probably lie to say they don’t deal with my type of shunt. Such a waste of time got me excited for HELP AND RELIEF after a horrible surgical experience at Morton Plant. Only to waste SO MUCH precious time of mine. I think most doctors must be selfobsorbed or egotistical maniacs. Just my luck.

I made an appointment on May 10 for June 17 praying it would get here soon and my back would hold out without the excruciating pain Ive had for 3 years. 3 days before the appointment I received a text they didnt get the auth from my primary. Primary said it wasnt needed and called Shulman. Today the day before my appointment. I received a call that they still didnt have the auth and my appointmentwas canceled. After a 10 minute hold she suddenly found the answer and no auth needed except I couldnt be seen because Shulman had emergency surgery tomorrow afternoon. Wouldnt sn emergency be todays surgery? Then the next excuse was that I didnt have an up to date MRI. Shouldnt that have been addressed BEFORE the appointment was made?? Oh yes it was I was told she would order one I think theres alot of lying going on here.

Dr. Shulman is very upbeat and great bedside manner. I had been in pain for years. After her surgery I have not been in pain since the surgery.

Dr. Shulman was extremely concerned about my neck. I really appreciate it. Mentally I am not ready to have my neck and part of the thoracic area fused. C2 to T2. Maybe I will become paralyzed but I do not have any pain at the moment. I need to be mentally prepared. Once you fuse it there is no turning back. There are lots of problems about fusion. I could not live with chronic pain in my neck. I cannot understand why she would not clean up my herniated discs on L4 L5 though. My sciatica is been killing me for two months till the point I cannot walk anymore. I was screaming for help but she could not hear me It is not always about the doctor. We go to the doctor to ask for help. Unfortunately some are extremely stubborn.

Outstanding neurosurgeon I had a colloid cyst of the third ventricle of the brain. I was transferred to 3 hospitals and ended up at the hands of Dr. shulman. She was excellent from beginning to end. I was in ICU for about 5 days had endocraniotomy to remove tumor and went home the next day. Recovery was tough but not because of her because its brain surgery. She is calming confident and reassuring. So thankful I ended up in her care.

Superior followup care after surgery

I had to get checked out after a bad accident and I just had a great new patient office visit here. Dr. Shulman Kathryn Kyle and the whole team are amazing Im a doctor in the area and I can say that Dr. Shulman by far has the best bedside manner out of all the neurosurgeons that I have ever met I will definitely be recommending others here

Dr. Shulman and Kathryn are amazing. She diagnosed me when no one else could. Very knowledgeable and I received more information than I ever had about my diagnosis.She has done surgery and I am finally pain free.I had seen 2 other neurosurgeons in Florida who had no empathy for their patient. Highly recommend

I would highly recommend Dr Shulman and her assistant Kathryn. My husband had a hip revision and thought that the hip was not right had pain going down his legs and couldnt stand up straight. Within one visit with Dr Shulman my husband found out that he had spinal stenosis. She put in 2 Colfex. One hour after surgery my husband was up walking without any pain...simply amazing He is now walking straight and using his new hip properly. Thank you Dr Shulman and Kathryn. The staff at the office are wonderful very caring and compassionate...Kudos to GwenTiffany and Taylor Also a shout out to Georgette nurse....very caring....
