Concerned with his lack of empathy for a 84 yr old patient who was too high risk for surgery. Honesty was appreciated but felt bad for my parents and how the news was delivered.

I didn't see the Doctor. I nurse removed the 2 stitches. I see the Dr for the first time on April 20th 2023

Very positive experience. Dr. Caldeira and his staff were kind and gave me good information.

Husband had triple bypass.DR Calderira did an excellent me and family will be forever grateful.Also the nursing staff gave great after care .Thankful for all of you.

Dr. Caldeira is a wonderfully talented surgeon, great at explaining your options and upcoming procedures, and acts like he truly cares about his patients. His nursing staff shows the same caring attitude toward the patient. His scheduling staff, however, leaves A LOT to be desired and really detracts from the overall practice. It took me two months to get an appointment, while regularly calling to follow-up on my status and never once receiving a return call as promised. After consulting with the doctor, I was told to have other testing done and they surgery would be scheduled. To my surprise, I was called three days later to be told my surgery was scheduled in 25 days. When I informed the caller that the doctor had ordered more tests prior to surgery, she again repeated what she had just stated as if I didn't hear her speaking. She definitely didn't hear me. Dr. Caldeira's reputation is impeccable, and I will stick with him as I trust him with my care...But please, for the sake of all involved, get a better scheduling staff.

I cannot come up with enough praises for largo hospital I had a triple bypass and with the after care of the nurses and doctors and the comfort of my of my recovery room I was up and out in 6 days and if ever I had to go to the hospital again I would go to largo hospital because I know what to expect and that is nothing but the best. He is very nice doctor he took very good care of me.i like him alot he did my heart transplant n my heart pump.top 1 heart transplant doctor.i wish he stayed at Tampa General hospital.i miss him.

He is an excellent surgeon the staff there is amazing would have no problem recommending him

I am so thankful for Dr. Caldeira. He performed triple bypass on my dad and I am so grateful for him. His team at Largo Medical Center will forever hold a special place in my heart. He will never know how much he is appreciated. He is truly a lifesaver.

Reassured me everything was going to ok. His 2 NP were absolutely the best. His nurse in his office (sorry I don’t know her name) was outstanding her bedside manner was super. I had some complications but they saw me thru the thick and thin. I always be grateful they saved my life. God bless them all.
