Dr. Stone performed a surgery on my many years ago that almost directly caused me to die. He used a stent to stop growth of an aortic aneurysm on a patient with Marfan Syndrome. His arrogance and lack of knowledge directly caused me to have a full aortic dissection. I have since had several life saving surgeries. And was told by my my amazing doctors at Mayo that what Dr Stone did was the absolute worst thing to do with a Marfan’s patient. Avoid this man like the plague.

Yesterday, sept 1 st was my 11th year anniversary of when Dr Stone literally saved my life...TWICE. I had a very rare extensive heart surgery which Dr. Stone had trained for my particular heart problem, called IHSS (for short). He literally had my heart when stopped in his hands...and brought me back to life. And here I am to tell the story 11 years later I still owe a huge sense of gratitude to Dr Stone...and, my family does also including my grandchilren who I have been able to enjoy thanks to him I hope he has a chance to read this....and, have a feeling he will remember my situation. Dr. Stone was so caring and comforting. I have an anxiety condition and I was so afraid of the TAVR. Dr. Stone and his wonderful got me throught this; I thank the all so much.

My husband had a very rare heart defect called an anomalous coronary artery. Dr. Stone saved my husbands life. He actually died on the table and again he saved him. It's been quite a recovery but he's almost there. Thank you Dr. Stone and staff at Largo medical center. Everyone was exceptional. God said it's not your time.

Dr. Stone operated on me June 21,2019. He saved my life without a dought. He never gave up on me and I'm so thankful. I had made the trip from TN to Largo for my last good by to my kids but God had a different plan. Thank you so much Doctor Stone.

Dr. Stone performed an emergency double bypass surgery on me on a Tuesday. I drove to work on Friday three days later with absolutely no pain. I didn't need any pain medications prescribed because I didn't have any pain. My nurse was astonished with how the surgery went. I will never forget how this phenomenal, talented doctor saved my life at Community Hospital in Indiana. Thank you Dr. Stone!

Dr Stone is an arrogant doctor. When I tried to ask questions about my mom’s surgery he simply didn’t have time. He treated me like a stupid child and refused to even engage in conversation. Do not use this doctor. The other heart surgeon who works for Largo saw my mom 2 days after surgery. He was kind and understanding and treated me with respect, answering all my questions.
