Amazingly professional and kind staff. I was a new patient and I was greeted by name from the gentleman on the first floor who checked me in. Unheard of in my experience. Dr. Maxfield took his time, asked and answered a lot of questions while be social, kind and professional. My parents referred me to him and I couldn't be anymore impressed! Great job by everyone there today!!!!

I felt like I have known him forever. He was so personal and kind. My first appointment and he made me feel like I was important and I could trust him to find my problem.

I wanted to make an appointment with Dr.Maxfield. It was comical how rude and inconsiderate the staff was.

Dr Maxfield has been my doctor for the past 8 years. He is a wonderful, knowledgeable, and caring Doctor.

Dr. Maxfield has been a godsend. He has worked hard to suss out what has been making me sick and continues to monitor it with humor and compassion. I am very grateful for his care.

This man has no buisness practicing medicine. He is way to old and completely clueless. He could have killed my father due to the fact that he cannot or will not admit when he is in over his head. Someone should notify the medical board about this fossilized waste of space.

I had upper GI issues and went through a myriad of tests and when none of that diagnosed my problem, my GP tried to send me to see Dr. Maxfield to take over my case. It was like pulling teeth to get an appointment. The receptionist sat on my record for two weeks when she was supposed to call me to set up an appointment. I called to find out what was taking so long, and she told me, "Your doctor's office wrote down that they want a gastric emptying study, we don't do those." Apparently didn't occur to her to call my doctor's office to get any kind of clarification. No, she just tossed my record in a corner. When I spoke to my doctor's office, they sent over my records again and made it clear that the next step was a gastric emptying study and that they wanted this specialist to take over my case. Again, I didn't hear back. Called again. Receptionist still acted like she didn't know why I was calling. Called my primary's office again, and the nurse called over there. Then I finally got a call from the receptionist saying something along the lines of, "I guess your office wants you to come over here, or whatever, I don't know, you can make an appointment I guess." I called back and finally got an appointment after a month of phone tag. When I went in, the doctor seemed nice enough. We talked about my symptoms, what tests I had already had done, and that the next step was a gastric emptying study to test for gastroparesis. He told me that off the top of his head, he didn't know what else I could have and said he may put me on meds anyway if the test came back normal. Had the test and waited a week. Didn't hear anything. Called the office. The nurse was prompt in getting back to me, but her response was, "The doctor doesn't call when tests are normal, and yours was normal, okay?" "Okay?" "Okay, bye." And she hung up. I don't care if a doctor calls, you let a patient know their test results. You could have a janitor call me. But you tell me my test results. And that doesn't change the fact that I'm still sick and was completely blown off by this doctor. I didn't have what he thought I had, and now it's "that's too bad, have a nice life, screw you." Again, a complete joke. Waste of money and months of my life I could have been going to a professional who may have been able to diagnose me, or maybe even tried to treat me for the symptoms I have.
