My right fingers were severely deformed from rheumatoid arthritis. They looked like ancient limbs of an oak tree. After two very successful surgeries, Dr Panello was able to straightened them. My fingers are absolutely beautiful and functional. He actually did the impossible, when several hand surgeons just shook their heads and sent me to hand therapy instead. I cannot thank Dr Penello enough for his expertise, his fantastic bedside manner, sense of humor and empathy. Dr. Penello helped me regain my confidence and I am not ashamed about my hands anymore. Thank you. Thank you and bless you Dr Penello! Oh! His staff and the surgical center are AMAZING!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Penello. I am just recovering from my second hand surgery and will say that both went so smoothly. Rather than the experiences being unsettling or anxiety-producing, they were as pleasant as can be under the circumstances. Dr. Penello is a friendly and caring doctor with a wonderful bedside manner which gives you a sense of trust in him. And it is well earned. I would recommend him to anyone.

I can't say enough about the trust and confidence I have in Dr. Penello. The pain in my thumb joint required LRTI surgery. Full range of motion usually takes 3 months and I've successfully gotten there in half the time. He's courteous, takes the time to explain and answer your questions - all things to calm your concerns. I'm 6 weeks post-surgery and extremely happy to have Dr. Panello as my surgeon. He's the BEST!!

Dr. Panello is very knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. I suffered through a nerve Injury and visited several doctors in the area and no one had an answer. We came to Dr. Panello and he was able to quickly diagnose what was wrong with me and surgically fixed it. It’s been well over a year and I haven’t had a problem since! Highly recommend Dr. Panello!

Dr. Penello is fantastic! I saw him for a second opinion for my wrist fracture and he had me in surgery the next day. He is skilled, knowledgeable, personable, and should be your first choice for wrist/hand injuries. I can't say enough good things about him, the staff, and my experience at Alexander Orthopedics!

Went to this “hand specialist”. Don’t waste your time! He never ever touched my hand. He sent me for an mri and could not determine why I have severe pain. Gave him 3 times before I fired him. What a waste of my time.
