Everyone here is friendly and courteous. I’m so sorry Dr Schwartz is retiring. He is a wonderful Doctor and shows such care for his patients. I’ve been a patient at Eye Institute of West FL for many years leaving a different well known clinic because their respect for individual patients was lacking. I highly recommend this practice.

Everything was explained to me thoroughly my eyes pressure has improved tremendously. In other words I am very glad to have Dr. Schwartz as my glaucoma physician.

Great doctor. Every knowledgeable. Truly caring. Takes his time and makes sure you understand what he is talking about and give you opinions. I have been his patient for over 15 years. If I thought we wasnt the one for my care I w old have been long gone. God bless him and his family

I saw Dr Schwartz from 1982 to 2020. At first I was a glaucoma candidate and I eventually developed glaucoma. In the early years he gave personalized attention. In the later years he barely spent any time with me. I eventually developed cataracts and my vision became very poor. He came into the examine room in a recent visit and simply said my vision had gotten a lot worse and implied it was because I had missed an appointment. I changed doctors and was immediately told that my vision issue was because of cataracts and had my eyes operated on. Now my vision is back to 2020. Dr Schwartz certainly knew cataracts were related to my vision issues but he preferred to blame me for missing an appointment. I would never use or recommend him again..

Thank God I found Dr.Schwartz I had gone to St. Michaels and my vision was worse after surgery. When I told my arrogant Dr. he was very angry and blamed ME I then went to Dr. Schwartz who diagnosed me correctly this time. He saved my vision. I am forever grateful. Thank you
