I am very disappointed with Dr. Norris and his practice. I went to him for years with a perceived issue with him asking me to return every six months. I went to a different cardiologist and was cleared immediately.

They are not respectful of time. I had an appointment at 8:10am and didn't get in until 8:40am. My appointment was so early that I didn't expect to have to wait so long but clearly they didn't pay attention to how many people they booked first thing in the morning.

Dr. John Norris and his staff are excellent. They really care about their patients, and take as much time as necessary to answer your questions. I just had an aortic valve replaced after five years of Dr. Norris monitoring my situation. He knew exactly when it was necessary to proceed. He helped me select a surgeon, Dr. Blaine Heric, who was terrific and took me through the open heart process. His care was also phenomenal. They worked as a team, and I was back to walking over 5 miles a day within 4 weeks of my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. John Norris as a Cardiologist, and I am so fortunate to having found him.

I wish I could submit a video instead of typing. I wish you could see my emotions and facial expressions as I talk about Dr. Norris and his staff. They are, simply put - amazing! I was so afraid of having a cardiac ablation. I tried so hard for three years to figure out what was triggering my AFib and control things on my own. I failed. I finally accepted the fact that I need to do this. But! Not just anybody was going to do this procedure! I did my research and decided that I wanted Dr. John Norris to perform the ablation. My insurance company approved and Dr. Norris accepted me as a patient. He and his staff have been so courteous, understanding and attentive. My life has changed DRAMATICALLY since the procedure and I feel 20 years younger. I am so grateful and thankful to every single member of the Dr. John Norris team! I can live in peace and confidence knowing that they are caring for me. If you are seeking a team of professionals to care for you, look no further. They are the best!

I am so thankful for Dr. Norris and his staff for taking care of me. The surgery I had has made me feel so good. I have no heart discomfort and my dizziness has disappeared which makes life so much more enjoyable. Dr. Norris is such a caring and kind person and I appreciate the prayers when I am stressed. I was referred to Dr Norris by a provider at an Urgent Care clinic where I had gone to have a physical for my driver's license. That provider gave Dr Norris a high recommendation and told me that Dr Norris specialized in treating the medical problem that I was having. After receiving care by Dr Norris for the past several months, I am now so grateful that I was directed to him. I feel that I have received excellent service by Dr Norris as well as his nurse practitioner and physician's assistant and all of the staff at Pinellas Arrhythmia Associates. When I learned that I would likely need to undergo a medical procedure on my heart to offer me the best chance of correcting the rhythm disturbance that I was having, Dr Norris was very helpful in explaining all the needful information and in allaying my fears. I had some fears about the procedure and concern over the possibility that it might not be successful, but Dr Norris was very sensitive and compassionate and during one office visit he prayed with me about my decision. There are not many doctors that will do that for their patients! The day of my procedure finally came and I arrived at Morton Plant Hospital early in the morning. I was very happy with the way I was treated there and I have no complaints but only praises. Often people who undergo a procedure like I did are able to go home the same day, but my blood pressure was running low (likely from the anesthesia) and the nurses recommended that I stay at the hospital over-night. At 5am the next morning which was a Saturday, I was overjoyed to see Dr Norris come into my room with the good news that the procedure went well and the prospects were favorable for a positive outcome. I know that there are not many doctors who visit with their patients so early on a Saturday morning, but I also know that Dr Norris is not your ordinary doctor. I was also delighted to be visited by his nurse practitioner at around 7am that same morning. Overall I can say from my heart that I am thankful to God for His leading me to receive my care from Dr Norris and his staff. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone with a broken heart like mine- they can mend it in more ways than one!

Six years ago, I had to have a cardiac ablation as all other forms of treatment did not work. I was almost in a permanent condition of AFIB, but after a few hours of surgery, Dr. Norris put my back in rhythm. I haven't had an incident of AFIB since then. Dr. Norris came highly recommended by other physicians and I am very happy I found him. I would trust no one else when dealing with heart arrhythmias and the treatment to fix them. When someone tells you that you have heart issues, seek the best. And, the best is Dr. Norris. My sincere thanks to Dr. Norris and his wonderful staff.

I first met Dr John Norris when I was trying to control my afib around 2002. He continued to keep me functional until around 2008 when my afib could no longer be controlled by my meds. During that time he had to reset set my heart on several occasions successfully. In 2008, he successfully preformed an abalation. The abalation had my heart in rhythm until late 2021. In late 2021, I started to go out of rhythm. He successfully reset my heart on several occasion. The time that the reset worked continued to get shorter and shorter. In late 2022, he performed my second abalation and it appears to be working. I am almost 82 years old due to DR Norris's efforts. I recommend him as highly as I can.
