Moved to Clearwater from Cleveland OH a few months ago where I went to Cleveland Clinic for all my medical services for decades. When I landed my sister highly recommended her Doctor and I saw him yesterday for my first visit. Wow was I impressed He was professional friendly compassionate knowledgeable explained everything in layman’s terms and didn’t look at his watch one time I’ve been to many Doctors over the years and there were only two others who didn’t look at their watches. He was more interested in listening understanding my challenges and treating me. He doesn’t treat patients like they are on a production line I’m serious I asked him if he could recommend a board certified eye surgeon and also a board certified dermatologist which he did. During our visit I realized he is a one of a kind Doctor. Then I asked him if he’d be my primary Doctor and he said yes. I know all his recommended Docs will be just like him

Very caring Docter

I have been seeing Dr. Kappeler for years and have never had even one negative experience. They have continued to go above and beyond for myself and my family for over a decade. He is kind compassionate and always willing to be real with you. I always recommend him to family and friends looking for a new practitioner There have been times over the years where I have been uninsured or had an insurance that his office did not take and have still chosen to continue to have him as my PCP.

I highly recommend Dr. Kappeler. He just makes you feel very comfortable I really trust him. Luckily I havent had a lot of health issues but if and when I do I feel very confident with Dr. Kappeler.

Dr. Kappeler is very unprofessional. I called to have a prescription filled in September where he informed me I had an unpaid balance from a hospital stay in May and he usually will not fill a prescription if there is a balance due. I never received a bill and was therefore unaware I had a balance. I assured him I would resolve it with Aetna and his billing person Robin. I immediately called Robin and communicated my conversation with Aetna who denied the claim stating it was a duplicate charge. Robin and I exchanged information via email on the $225 fee where she stated Dr. Kappeler would work to resolve it. I never heard anything more and assumed it was taken care of. My husband and I arrived at his office on 122 for physicals and after waiting an hour his front desk rep Melissa informed me I had an open balance. I then explained Robin worked on resolving it with the doctor. We then went into his room where he proceeded to state he doesn’t treat patients if they owe money. I once again reiterated my communications with Robin and thought it was resolved. He then proceeded to argue with us how he needed to get paid and is tired of insurance companies not paying him. He then went and called the other doctors office who did get paid and his billing person. I said I would help to resolve it but it was clearly a billing issue and not something I personally owed. He was very argumentative and we obviously left without being treated. Complete waste of 90 minutes of our time not to mention his other patients he kept waiting while arguing with us. I immediately called Aetna when I returned home and they are working on resolving the issue.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kappeler for about ten years. I can’t say enough good things about him. He is very thorough At diagnosing and if there’s any doubt he doesn’t hesitate to order additional testing. His office manager Melissa is also a great asset and always helpful. Highly recommend this doctor.

Love doctor Kappeler his front desk assistant. Always feel welcome helped heard. Since COVID19 reared its ugly head my husband had his wreck AND developed seizures my two special needs babies became toddlers..Im glad I have them to call when I need them Thanks guys

great doctor he always shoots straight is honest about any risksrewards. Hard working actually cares about my well being. The prices are fair if you need an honest doctor. This is your guy
