List of Medexpress Urgent Care's Reviews
What an absolutely wonderful experience! From the friendly, fast and helpful receptionist to the welcoming, caring nurse to my doctor, who was able to diagnose a very uncommon rash, almost instantly, giving me the correct script for it, and having me back on my feet in a matter of days! Thank you all for the wonderful service! ❤️❤️
Awesome place! Very nice staff! Highly recommended Very happy 😊
As quick as they could be and very efficient without a rushed feeling
Normally if I go to an urgent care clinic the clinicians and staff are just so stressed out from how busy they usually are because they are an urgent care clinic to act like they care. However that was not in my experience here. Everybody was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr Davis was absolutely amazing and explained what he was doing and why he was doing it and even gave me some great recommendations as if I was a family member! The X-ray tech, unfortunately I couldn't remember her name, but she was also pretty amazing and we talked about a career as a radiographer. I'm somebody who likes to chat a little bit with people so I can feel comfortable and these people definitely fit the bill. If I ever need an urgent care in the future this will definitely be where I go. Thank you!
I made an appointment at this MedExpress location for 10am as my usual doctor was booked full today, and I needed to be seen last minute as I woke up with a swollen tonsil. The first nurse called me in to take my vitals at 10:33. She was very professional and organized, I do not blame her for me being called in so late as I know it was out of her control. I then got moved into the room, and since my visit was for a tonsil injury, the nurse took a strep throat test. She said she was to return in 8 minutes with the results. At 10:52, 2 new nurses enter. One informs me my strep test was negative, and tells me I'll be taking the mono text next. The other nurse drew blood from my fingertip for the sample, all still well at this point besides the timing. The one nurse felt around my glands and neck, and checked my breathing. They left the room and told me the mono test should be complete in 10 minutes. 11:12 comes along and the nurse who felt my neck along with now finally the doctor enter. The doctor faintly looks at my throat and immediately informs me he believes I have an abscess in my tonsil and I need to go to the ER immediately for a scan of my throat as this is something that could escalate quickly, and maybe even result in me suffocating to death. (Genuinely words that were used.) They recommend a steroid shot, and the doctor and nurse immediately leave. 5 minutes go by and I begin to start questioning things and become a bit concerned. I proceed to trust my gut and leave the office. Fortunately, the stars aligned and my usual doctor had a cancellation at noon. I am writing this from the parking lot of his office here to inform that it was a measly tonsil stone which was removed with a cotton swab immediately. I was prescribed an antibiotic, and told that the advice I was given from MedExpress was asinine. Almost 2 hours of beating around the bush at MedExpress just for a scare. Less than an hour at my typical doctor and I am already feeling 50% better and have a prescription to antibiotics. No needles, no hospital visits, no nonsense. I would not recommend this location to anyone, and I really wish I got the name of the doctor who half assedly looked over me.
Always the best! Wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you for all that you do!!
I when there to get drug tested for employment but them trying to don't renew my Cdl medical card for the normal period that should be 2 years, instead the only do for six months. They says my neck was to big and I should have sleep issues. I says NO!!! But I get it. They want more money. This is why the want me there the next six months but It wouldn't happen. I'll in other place where the people be treated like human not just a number. Very bad fucking place. I'll get my Cdl medical for other better place
The MedExpress team in Largo is top notch! I'm here on vacation and needed to be seen for an earache. When I arrived at the office at 8am I was greeted by your very friendly staff at check-in. I noticed right away the office space was clean and organized. I was seen promptly by Katherine Blake. She was extremely friendly and thorough. The office handled my prescription order, and it was filled timely. All in all, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this office and team for any urgent health needs.
I will give 1 star. They don’t care if you die they make you suffer. I was there yesterday for fever and sore breast I was so much on pain I clearly told them my pharmacy is on cvs on target which is next door but they send my prescription 25 minutes away which is not even my pharmacy at all. I have to called them several times to make sure about my pharmacy. Public trust doctors and think they are the lifesaver if doctor’s care about insurance and money than there is no words to say.
I was not aware that they switched to appointments only so I had to wait an hour in my car. And then I received mediocre service. I will be going elsewhere next time!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
