Absolutely worst doctor ever. Horrible bedside manner. He really needs to retire. He actually told me all of my stomach pains were "psycho somatic. I would not bring an animal to him. Awful awful uncaring doctor.

Unfortunately, I am on my 4th colonoscopy with Dr Stenzel but i assure you that he is an excellent Doctor. Nothing but high marks and would highly recommend him!

I find Dr Michael Stenzel, Gastroenterologist, to be one of the finest physicians in PINELLAS COUNTY. He is an expert in his field. He is kind and caring, has excellent office and bedside manner. In this busy chaotic world I find Dr Stenzel to be well grounded, extremely knowledgeable, and definitely an asset to the medical profession as well as LARGO DIAGNOSTIC CLINIC, the SURGERY CENTER, and the HOSPITAL.

Called to schedule appointment in early May. First available was at the end of August at 7:15 am. I came and was told I was "bumped". No one called from Dr. Stenzel' office to let me know. Took time from work, had to get someone to take my child to school. Hoping to let Dr. Stenzel know as it does not reflect good on him. Will be looking for another doctor.

Terrible you never actually see DR Stenzel only his nurse practitioner Cathy Barbara...... they preformed a egd and a colonoscopy told me polyps in my colon were normal im 28...... was not able to go number 2 told the dr I had syptoms of colitis and ulcers she said nope just ibs and gave me meds that gave me excessive squirts, went to another much better gastro that found bleeding stomach ulcers and colitis along with a inguinal hernia.. all things I told dr Stenzel nurse to look for STAY AWAY!!

Dr. Stenzel is a friendly professional with years of experience and s pleasant sense of humor which set my mind at ease immediately. Reinne the anesthesiologist was friendly professional and efficient ..thanks for the sleep. Dr Nutt anesthesiologist pleasant and friendly. And of course kudos to the wonderful nurses on his staff!
