I have some long running issues with my eyes and recently moved across the state. I asked my previous specialist to recommend someone in the Palm HarborTampa area and she gave me Dr. Cothrans information.I am very pleased with the concern and attention my new doctor has given me and feel very comfortable having her take over.

Dr. Cochran is professional courteous and friendly. When I explained a change in my medical condition she understood the significance and possible effect on my eyes. Had an emergency. Went to the Eye Institute without an appointment. Was first seen by a student named Alex. Actually thought he was a resident. He was so efficient and thorough. Followed up by Dr. Cothran. I just like her sunny attitude. She was coaching Alex with such ease. All around my emergency turned out half as bad. Thank you so much.

Dr. Cothran is a very compassionate kind knowledgeable professional and holistic doctor who sees her patients as a whole person. As an optometrist she does not only see her patients as an eye doctor she takes her time examining her patients and answers every question related to their health. For instance when I went to see Dr. Cothran for my glaucoma checkup she noticed that some of my fingers were different than the others. She ordered additional screening for underlining autoimmune diseases and the test came back positive for an autoimmune disease. Consequently I am now being treated by a specific specialist to treat that disease. Her thorough and compassionate care has afforded me great eye care and more knowledge concerning my body’s specific needs. I am very happy to have met Dr. Cothran for without her expertise and her holistic approach I would not be where I am today.
