Philip LEE Shettle's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Shettle is the best ophthalmologist I've been to in many years. I needed a physician skilled in diseases of the eye and not every DO is trained in these areas. I've been to some of the best in NYC and I found Dr. Shettle to be superior. I could not be happier with having found a great doctor with an excellent office.

Initial Visit Went Very Well! At a routine vision check the Optometrist suspected Glaucoma and recommended further testing. A friend from church sees Dr. Shettle for a similar issue and is happy with the care that she receives so I decided to see him. Scheduling was easy. You can complete paperwork online, ahead of your appointment. They do collect patient portions day of service, no exceptions. There was a bit of a wait the day of my appointment but once I was taken back I was not rushed at all. All of my questions and concerns were addressed. Interaction with all staff was very positive. Everyone was very friendly. I appreciated Dr. Shettle's conservative approach to my treatment needs. Office was clean and comfortable. Flat lot parking close to the office entrance. I will return for future care and highly recommend Dr. Shettle and his team.

Not a better eye physician in the area! Cares deeply about his patients and in the world of ever-changing medicine Dr. Shettle finds a niche by taking plenty of extra time and care with his patients. Not one detail will be missed! Worth the drive from neighboring counties like Hillsborough or Manatee if you can get here!

As new patient of Dr Shettle, after having cataract surgery by another surgical center, after 5 months of pain and no progress with other surgeon, I decided to make appt with Dr Shettle.It only took him 1 appt to resolve my problem..Outstanding Doctor and staff..I highly recommend this office and this Doctor...

Dr. Lee Shettle and his staff are amazing. I've been a patient of Dr. Shettle for over a year and the quality of care I have received is nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Shettle and his staff are extremely patient, knowledgeable, and personable. I always feel like I'm the only patient they have during my visits. Recently, I came in for my annual check-up shortly after losing my prescription glasses. I received a new prescription and met with Linda in optical. Linda ordered two frames for me to try, since the ones I had previously purchased were discontinued. On my return visit, I met with Claire who also works in optical. Claire not only helped me decide on which of the two frames would look and work best for my needs, but also spent a ton of time helping me decide on the many options available for the lenses. Linda and Clair are both amazing! Best pair of glasses I've ever purchased and an even better experience purchasing them. I highly recommend Dr. Shettle and his awesome staff!

I trust Dr Lee Shettle. I have been going to him for years and he also took me last minute when I had to had 2 separate eye injuries in the past. Truly a great doctor who cares about his patients. That alone makes me a die-hard patient, as a big additional plus, he is a fine upstanding citizen and Christian man as well.

He came highly recommended. I have not been to an Optometrist in over 20 years. What a great experience. The office is clean and tidy. Front door parking. Kim made the check in experience great and quick. Kaye took me back. She was nice very helpful, knowledgeable and comforting. She took her time and did everything needed. Dr. Shettle was very nice. He asked me questions and answered all of mine. Claire fit me and for frames was very accommodating. She took her time and got me the frames I wanted. There was an issue with my card. She called and kept in touch. All in all a great experience
