Richard Fansler Md's Online Review Report Card

The receptionist is terrible. I know it’s hard to find good help these days, but she needs a new job. She was very uninviting on the phone when I called to schedule an appointment. She was quick to dismiss me when she told me they don’t accept my insurance. I actually had to stop her from hanging up since I have no problem paying out of pocket. Her tone was condescending and arrogant. If your calls are recorded, that one should certainly be listened to by management.

I deeply appreciate all that dr.fansler has done for me. He was very to the point of what the procedure was, possible outcome and possible complications. After my gallbladder was taken out it was a simple procedure and the cuts healed fine. I thank this man for listening to me and advocating to remove my gallbladder. He saved my life❤️

Let's start with Dr. Fansler's staff- they are the nicest group of ladies and his nurse Stacy is wonderful. Dr. Fansler and his staff are kind, caring, and compassionate. They listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions- before and after surgery and worked me in when I needed to be seen. Not once was I made to feel like a pest or rushed through my appointment. This kind of care and attention is few and far between, and I drive from two and a half hours away to see this group- they are well worth it. I highly recommend this physician and his staff.

He is an excellent Surgeon; I am thrilled my primary doctor referred me to him. He was caring prior to and after the surgery. He explained the procedure and care in detail I needed. He contacted my daughter after surgery and provided her detailed information to assist me in post surgery recovery.

My husband had a consult with Dr. Fansler. The doctor had reviewed my husband's case and offered possible solutions. His notes will help my husband's primary on the next steps. Dr. Fansler and his PA Stacy were professional, thorough, and caring. The whole office staff was helpful and caring. They helped us by calling medical transportation as well. We're happy with the consult with Dr. Fansler. The outside building is white and blue, and it could be hard to find, except for a huge mural on the parking lot side. The inside waiting room and offices were clean and nicely decorated.

My husband had a hernia repaired by Dr. Fansler. The staff at his office was extremely rude and treated us terribly. After visiting the office and asking about the pain medicine and possible side effects, my husband was given no other option and dismissed like he was a drug addict looking for more pills. Since he had never been under general anesthesia or taken pain pills, we were simply looking for solutions that would help his recovery go more smoothly. Do yourself a favor and find a physician that cares about his patients and providing a high standard of care.

Why do you think the Medicaid Nursing Homes use him. The worst of Drs. Go find someone who is a real dr.

My husband had hernia surgery performed by Dr. Fansler. After the surgery, his office was unresponsive and flippant about his pain level. Treating him like a pill popper out to find a new fix. When he saw Dr. Fansler at his post op appointment, his concerns were left unaddressed and he was dismissed as quickly as possible. My husband is still experiencing some pain and feels that Dr. Fansler does not actually care about his well being now that the $12k surgery bill has been paid in full. Do yourself a favor and find a physician who isn't too busy to care for you.

Dr Fansler made me feel very comfortable with my upcoming surgery. Took time to answer all my questions and has good bedside manor. I had to keep on top of my case tp get on the schedule or I might not have been evaluated in time. Front staff should cover up her top area! (Dress more professionally)
