List of Sarah A. Notter's Reviews
My problem is not with the doctor Dr. Notter is awesome but more with the officebilling. In 2019 I was charged $20 at the front desk for an office visit even though my healthcare plan is 100% covered for annual wellness exams which I told them when I booked the appointment. I was eventually credited back the $20 a few months later and a few phone calls to them. This year my annual exam was on 91721 and I went to Labcorp on 913 for bloodwork which the doctor sent an Order for. At Labcorp they charged me $23. At the appointment on 917 I gave a copy of this charge to the front desk questioning it since my annual exam is 100% covered. They told me they would give it to their manager. I heard nothing from them and just called their office today 930 at 10 AM. I was told by Nicole that nothing had been updated yet on my account and they would contact me once they heard from their office manager. Ill have to see if they get back to me in a timely manner or if I have to call again like I did today. I work 12hour night shifts and sleep during the day and dont have time to followup. Their office should do this in a timely manner when a billing question arises and is presented to them.
On 9222020 I had my 1st and only visit with Dr. Sarah Notter. During my appointment I discussed some issues and concerns I had and requested referrals for an allergist and orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Notter sent me for bloodwork since it was my first appointment. I went for this blood work at a Baycare lab on 9252020.On 1092020 I received a bill for $393.29. When I called my insurance to inquire about this bill my insurance company informed me that Dr. Sarah Notter ran blood work that is not covered for someone under 40 years of age and that Dr. Sarah Notter also ran allergy blood work which I did not ask for did not approve or did not know it was being requested or taken.During this time I was waiting for and communicating with Dr. Sarah Notter’s office BayCare Billing and my insurance company. The three would not communicate with each other unfortunately. At one point I emailed Dr. Sarah Notter through the BayCare portal requesting to speak to her and explaining the matter. She never responded.I spoke to Nicole at Dr. Sarah Notter’s office on 562021 at 130pm and requested to speak to the office manager Jennifer. I waited 7 business days for a call back that I never received. I called the office again to speak to Jennifer the office manager on 5172021. Jennifer called me back later on 5172021. I explained what the insurance company had told me about the blood work and the bill and explained what I had discussed and requested during that visit. Jennifer stated that the visit on 9222020 should have been coded a Wellness VisitExam Code. Jennifer also stated Dr. Sarah Notter’s office was going to send back the labs to the insurance office for review. When I advised Jennifer that I did not request for allergy blood work to be completed she stated “Well it is your word against Dr. Notter’s word.” When I advised Jennifer that I had emailed Dr. Sarah Notter she had stated that Dr. Sarah Notter did not respond because that is not something that she handles.Telling a patient that it is your word against the doctor’s word makes me feel unsafe. Dr. Notter took an oath when she became a doctor and right now is not being truthful or honest. How am I supposed to continue care with Dr. Notter or anyone in her office at this time after this incident. It has been a year of dealing with this issue and it is still yet to be resolved.
I got right in with no wait
It all seems very well run. I have no suggestions.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
