Sebastian Tas's Online Review Report Card

Incompetent. I had to see Dr. Tas for possible treatment at most, and at the least to have clearance for another spinal procedure. Timeliness was critical for me to get back to a manageable pain level. In the appointment I was told 24 hours to generate and distribute the clearance letter. Here we are a week later and no product. Voicemails go unanswered. Because they do not return phone calls, I had to physically go back to the office to encourage them to deliver on their word. No big deal if you can ambulate well. I am largely homebound and disabled so I am not that fortunate. I had to clarify who my referring physician was. Ridiculous!

Dear Dr. Tas My first words to you with many tears in my eyes is THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!! YOU ARE AND HAVE BEEN MY HERO FOR ALMOST SEVEN YEARS NOW. YOU ARE A MAN AND DR. WITH WITH GREAT COMPASSION AND A BIG HEART. YOU ERASED ANY FEARS I EVER HAD ABOUT GOING TO A DR. AGAIN. YOU NEVER NEVER EVER GAVE UP ON ME WITH ALL OF OUR SCARY LIFE THREATENING SITUATIONS THAT CAME UP. IT'S BEEN A LONG ROAD YOU WOULD NOT LET ME GIVE UP. IT'S PROBLY MORE THAN I CAN COUNT ON DIFFERENT OCCASIONS THAT YOU LITERALLY SAVED MY FEET BOTH OF THEM AT LEAST FOUR DIFFERENT TIMES. MY FEET MY ANKLES MY TOES. I'M STILL WALKING ON BOTH OF THEM THANKS TO YOU. YOU'RE SO SMART KNOWLEDGEABLE KIND CARING COMPASSIONATE AND TAKE YOUR JOB VERY SERIOUS. YOU GENUINELY CARE. YOU SHOWED ME ALL THAT ON MY FIRST VISIT TO YOU AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ME. YOU GAVE ME HOPE AND YOU'VE NEVER LET ME DOWN. MAYBE I'M WRITTING TO MUCH ON THIS PAGE BUT I JUST WANT ANYONE WHO IS AFRAID OR THINKS THERE'S NO HOPE WHEN IT COMES TO WOUND CARE THEY'RE WRONG. DR. TAS HIS STAFF THEY ARE WHO YOU'RE LOOKING FOR. TRUST ME PEOPLE HE AND HIS STAFF ARE SO HONEST AND THEY NEVER GIVE UP. HE ALWAYS HAS THE ANSWER. THANK YOU DR. TAS YOU'RE ONE IN A TRILLION.

I can be a difficult patient. I am stubborn and think I know what is best for me. That can be a problem dealing with any Doctor. The real question is whether or not the Doctor is listening or cares. Although Doctor Tas and I have disagreed on the next steps or correct course of action at times, either he or I have given way to the other depending on the situation. Having a health care provider that considerers the patient as a person and not just a set of statistics makes a real difference in achieving the best outcome for the patient as an individual. Don't be a number. Find a caring, thoughtful, compassionate professional highly skilled at their specialty but also human.

I was very fortunate that Dr. Tas happened to be at the hospital when I arrived in the ER on a Sunday night. He explained all of my options, exactly how the surgery would be done, and what to expect post operatively. He was kind, compassionate and answered all of my questions which really put my mind at ease. My surgery went very well with minimal pain after. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Tas without hesitation!

Dr. Tas has the greatest bedside manners, he is also so kind and maked you feel at ease, I would give him 100 stars if that was possible. I would highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Tas for a couple years for treatment of a chronic wound. I am a paraplegic with a pretty serious stage 4 bed sore that he has been seeing me for at least once a month for about 3 years. I wanted to say that Dr. Tas is an absolutely amazing doctor! He is so knowledgable and he actually truly cares about each and every patient! He always takes the time at every single appointment to talk with me, and actually really listens to what I have to say. He often has went out of his way to help me, even in ways that aren't really his responsibility. He helped me with orders and prescriptions for me to get a power wheelchair even tho it took a lot of his time and it really isn't his place to do, but he didn't mind helping me out so that I didn't have to go to yet another doctor's appointment just got a prescription. He has bent over backwards more than a few times to help me, and I know that he honestly cares about his patients. It's rare to find such a great doctor who is so caring and compassionate, and willing to take the time to talk to every patient that he sees. With my health and physical disabilities, I have MANY MANY doctors and specialists that I see and I can honestly say that Dr. Tas stands out alone as the best doctor I have ever had experience with! That's really saying something since my entire life is spent going to doctors appointments and therapy and meeting so many different doctors and specialists! I would most definitely recommend Dr. Tas to anyone who is looking for a good doctor in his field! Also even tho Dr. Tas is an amazing surgeon he doesn't try to push surgery on me either. He's actually recommended in my case not to opt for surgery. Which many surgeons usually push for surgery even when sometimes it may not be necessary.

Dr. Tas is a brilliant surgeon. He literally saved my life. He treats patients like real people. He is a great listener. He explains medical issues without being condescending. I highly recommend Dr. Tas.
