What a fabulous professional yet warm physician. Never rushed was asked many questions to include health matters not related to my visit. Easy going but to the point. Fully explained everything to me and any questions I had. TOP NOTCH

Terrible uncaring and irritable. Misdiagnosed and my primary dr figured it out. Go anywhere else but here.

I have been seeing Dr. Mccanse for about 2 yrs. He is always helpful and patience with me and my questions. I recently had kidney stone removal. Just before surgery I asked for an xray just to make sure it hadnt passed because I was no longer in pain. He agreed. Unfortunately it was still there. Dr.Mccanse explain procedure would go on. He has wonderful bedside manners and is caring and understanding. I have had previous stone removals from a previous urologist and I explain to Dr. McCanse my fears. He has empathy and kindness. I trust him and his suggestions for my kidney stones Thank you Dr. McCanse to me you are the best The staff are awesome too

Amazing response I was experiencing early symptoms of a UTI on Sunday morning 845 AM and called the after hours number for assistance. The call center individual was very receptive and understanding and informed me Dr. Mccanse would phone me. At 855 AM Dr. Mccanse phoned listened attentively to my concerns and informed me that he would request a prescription from my pharmacy and have a nurse phone me to arrange a followup visit for a urinalysis and appointment. This response and the demeanor of these individuals are exemplary and above most provider protocols in the patient doctor relationship today. Dr. Mccanse earns a laurel for his response and care regarding my situation not an earth shattering emergency medical situation here but I was extremely uncomfortable and he alleviated my concerns. That is what Doctors and health care professionals use to do and it is truly amazing that some are still in the game. Thank you for your service to our country and your dedication to your profession. Dr Mccanse found a blockage in between my kidney and bladder and cleared it followed by medication and restoring the proper flow meds etc. He is soft spoken attentive and gentle. He also treated my wife and she was well taken care of.

Cant wait to get you under the knife. Terrible communication and people skills talks over you loses his patience if you dont just nod along does not understand that patients need to advocate for themselves ask questions have a dialogue. He offered no options but a saturation biopsy in hospital with sedation despite negative results from 3 biopsies by my former urologist. His staff is awful. Had to call 4 times to have my records sent to my former urologist back home and they were never sent. Finally had to actually drive to his office and stand over the senile old woman who handles records there while she photo copied them for me then had to pay $11 at post office to have them faxed myself. Never again

Dr. McCanse is the best surgeon Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. Hes professional yet not stuffy. He thoroughly explained everything yet didnt pull any punches. I appreciated all of that. He was at my bedside every single morning after my surgery. My followup appointments were actually a pleasure to go through. He truly acts as if he cares about his patient. Would highly recommend him.

Still waiting for results of a urinalysis that I had two days ago. Have blood in urine and intense pain in groin and abdominal areas. He checked for a hernia ruled it out told me to take Aleve. No explanation as to why there might be blood present or reason for pain I had a prostatectomy on Dec 12...about 3 months ago...so the blood and pain were understandably alarming. Then theres the 20minute holds to just schedule an appointment or talk to somebody. Lousy experience.

Dr. McCanse was friendly efficient and thorough. Very assuring manner. He gave me a guided tour of my bladder as he searched for any issues. Have your questions ready and he answers them readily. I would gladly see him again if needed.
