List of Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute - Cantor Spine Clinic's Reviews
Dr giufrida and his nurse Anderson should be fired . I have a severe protrusion at c6/7 causing narrowing of the central canal and neural foramina . I had a epidural and some steroid injections and I’m still disabled with chronic neck and shoulder pain . And constant headache . She threw me back at physical therapy. Just incompetent. This was 2022. I should have seen Dr Cantor because I see here he gets all the positive reviews.
The doctors are wonderful and staff. Looking for quality medical care look no further
I've seen Dr.Giuffrida for pain management different times. Add epidural injection left side sciatica two years ago and still pain free. Had hip injection last Monday and 80% better which I'm so greatful for. His office staff has always been considerate and plesent. His medical assistant has always returned calls when I leave a message.
There aren’t enough stars to post about Dr. Jeffrey Cantor and his team. I am a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA and have experience providing anesthesia for many spine surgeons in South Florida. When we found out that my partner would need and anterior/posterior cervical spine procedure I knew precisely who to go to. Because of my background, working with many surgeons, in many specialties, I am often asked by friends for recommendations. Never the less, when my partner needed surgery, I did my homework. We sought out three opinions, surgical and non surgical, to determine if surgery was indeed necessary, My partner Robert was very active, gym 5-6 days a week and hiker. When he started having right arm weakness, followed by a rapid loss of muscle mass cause by nerve impingement, we knew it was serious. From the first consultation, and explaining ever detail, to the day of surgery and continuing to reassure our concerns, Dr. Cantor never rushed a single conversation, or ever pushed any course of action. Simply gave us his well qualified option and recommendation. After more of my own research, I realized that waiting could put us into an emergency situation with progressive nerve impingement, and we wanted to avoid that at all cost. We decided to move forward with the procedure. The surgery went exactly as expected. The recovery, rough at times, also went exactly as expected with no surprises. Robert followed the post op instructions to the T. Three months later, he is pain free, back in the gym, and regaining the muscle mass that was lost. We couldn’t be more satisfied. If there is one thing I could impress more than anything else, who you are treated by first probably has the biggest impact on surgical outcomes. This includes everything from pre operative care, to surgery, to post op care and rehabilitation. As far as I am concerned, Dr Cantor and his team are the best in South Florida. Joey Knapich CRNA
I've been to the center twice (consultation and procedure). Dr. Giuffrida and staff are great! Starting with the front desk staff, medical assistants, RNs, etc. - everyone did an excellent job. They thoroughly explained my problem and on the day of my procedure, took very good care of me - always asking how I was doing. Thank you!
After 15 years of steroid injections, physical therapy, and an unhealthy amount of meds, I decided to visit a spine surgeon. Now I wish I had met Dr. Cantor 15 years ago. With all my MRI's and some high quality X-Rays Dr. Cantor was able to quickly and precisely diagnose a failed facet joint. He performed an L4-L5 fusion that changed my life. I must admit sometimes It is hard to get an appointment at the Spine Center, but there is a very good reason. People come from other parts of the country to see these doctors. My surgery was in June last year (2022). A month later I was walking a mile a day on a treadmill. Three months later I was back on my bicycle. Six months later I was hiking mountain trails. I recently completed a multi-day off-road motorcycle trip with no pain. Life changing. Doctor Cantor, thank you so much sir. Best
Someone needs to train the front desk on patient care. This place is a factory and the unpleasant women sitting at the front desk greet you as if you're trespassing. You cannot get a live person to answer the phone. You can leave a message but don't bother because they don't call you back. I did this three times and they ignored all of my calls. In order to get an audience with the doctor you have to drop off all your medical records and if you're not a candidate for surgery which is the only thing they offer. They then try and get you to go to one of their own pain management doctors. It took me two weeks to find out absolutely nothing from these people. My file was in the back and all of my contact with them required that I had to get in my car and go over to the clinic. What a waste of time. I do not recommend this place only for their inefficiencies of the practice and the lack of professionalism from the staff.
Very professional and knowledgeable doctor with incredibly supportive stuff. I had two visits so far and I have gained a great deal of confidence in Dr. Cantor : he takes his time and goes into smallest details. I am a surgeon myself and thus considered to be the worst patient, yet his efforts and communicative abilities have left me at ease during both visits. The technical aspects of his office are cutting edge (maybe some pun intended) and so far I feel very comfortable with his treatment approach. A+ to him and his helpers
I contacted the center a couple of months ago, they did respond and asked for MRI and xrays. I had these done and uploaded to the link they provided. That was the last interaction. I had followed up a few times with no response whatsoever. It has been weeks and I have decided to go with another provider...so disrespectful and disappointing to not at least contact patients that go through the effort of getting imaging done and provided to this clinic.
I thank God for Dr. Giuffrida and his staff who are a refreshing change from another pain management provider I patronized for several years. There is a wonderful ambience in his office indicated by warm and friendly interactions....in fact I have never been greeted with so many SMILES at a doctors office before!. Dr. G. was ON TIME and very personable and methodical in his interactions and investigation into my chronic lower back condition. His initial diagnosis and treatment was 100% spot on and now I'm working pain-free as a 70 years young handyman, and fishing offshore in my little boat again!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
