My mother sees this Dr and I have been with her. He didn’t examine her when she told him she’s had a sore throat for months. She’s a 60 year+ smoker. She had a ct scan and said there were 3 “spots” in her abdomen. No explanation. Repeat ct in 3 months. I’m having my mother sign a consent for information so I can at least get some results of tests etc. He told her another Dr would be calling her too set up and appt. weeks later, still no call. Not the first time. Very disappointed.

I have been with Dr Banala since 2012 and in my 80 years, I have not had a more intelligent and caring personal physician. He visits his hospitalized patients every day. His ability to pre-diagnose serious medical conditions is almost uncanny. My only problem is sometimes understanding him during my appointments. He tends to mumble somewhat and his pronunciation of English words can be a little off-putting. Thats Okay, because I understand he speaks 5 languages.

Dr. Banala is a wonderful physician. He recognized I had symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea & made immediate arrangements for a sleep study. I now sleep 7-8hrs per night on my home cpap unit. I've been wearing my cpap at night since Aug. 2007. Thank you Dr. Banala!! Barrett Brown

Very bright. Not a great conversationalist, but really knows his medicine. Thoughtful, and kind. Sometimes hard to understand; he is from India.

one of the worst physicians i have ever seen. callous and rude. would hardly carry on conversation regarding my concerns. charged a high fee. i give him credit for one thing, he was honest to say he did not have any answers to any of my questions. he did not know and did not care. a doctor does not need to be warm and friendly, if competent, Banala was none of these.
