I always feel that he goes out of his way to explain what is happening with my eyes and the best best way to move forward. Never feel rushed. Works well with his staff too. With the virus I felt safe with their procedures in place. Well done.

Being a new Floridian by 2 months I had no idea who to turn to with an eye problem. Dr. Pieschke diagnosed my problem after performing several tests which I had never had before. He was VERY thorough in his examining me and possibly may have saved my life. My eye problem actually ended up being a cardiac problem which exposed it's head thru my eye. I am very thankful to him and his staff for being so caring and professional. In order not to lose my eye sight I have an appt. with a cardiologist tomorrow!

I saw Dr Pieschke after a radical change of vsion in my right eye after an eye infection. He didn't want to discuss any of the circumstances and was in a hurry to get to his next patient. His attempt to thwart questions through intimidation was somewhat laughable. I mean really, how intimidating can you be as an optometrist. My experience with that type of personality is they are compensating for their own short comings. I have cancelled my followup visit and will find another eye doctor. I had requested an ophthalmologist at Mid Florida Eye Center and unfortunately received an appointment with an optometrist. I highly suggest you find someone else.

Took the time to explain, in lay men's terms, the results of my procedure.as well as walking me through the status of my other eye. He laid it out clearly and was responsive to all my questions. I felt it was the best most honest explanation I have ever gotten.

Dr. Pieschke is always professional, knowledgeable, attentive and caring. Sheila sheduled my appointment. Alicia initiated the process in the Exam Room. At the end of the visit, Jessica completed the process at the Front Desk. I was very pleased with the friendly attitude and professionalism of Alicia, Sheila, and Jessica. Dr. Pieschke and the 3 young ladies provide a welcoming and warm environment.

Dr. Peischke is a talented optometrist trapped in the body of an insecure, wannabe ophthalmologist. Sadly, his condescending, arrogant demeanor overshadows a very knowledgeable doctor. Fortunately for the patient however, competent, knowledgeable optometrists and personable, respectful optometrists are not mutually exclusive. I suggest that patients do themselves a favor and pass on this one; there are much better optometry options out there.
