if I could give no stars I would. I called to see if they accepted insurance for a contacts appointment. was told prior it would be $25. they then said after my exam they would be charging me an additional 79 dollars for fitting my contacts which weren't even my right prescription bc mine have to be ordered because I have an astigmatism. when I asked the doctor about being fitted for contacts that were not my prescription and the purpose or point of the fee or service he said "if you don't want my services you are free to leave" I asked again how I can be charged for a fitting for contacts that aren't my prescription. I understand if I were charged when my contacts come in but it literally makes no sense to charge me for contacts that aren't even my prescription. He literally got rude and said, I don't know how I could better explain I so maybe you should go. And I said "you mean with my prescriptio?" and he said "no". now mind you I have no contacts in at this point and can't even see. The sample is not my true prescription, so i felt trapped. I could have gone somewhere with no insurance and paid less. This place is a scam.
I have had to come in three times to get my eyes checked. The doctor does not listen. He talks over top of you when you’re trying to discuss and tell him your issues. I haven’t even left the parking lot and I go back in to tell him I’m still seeing blurry. I don’t know what he’s doing but he is not taking proper testing on my eyes and giving me wrong prescriptions. I don’t understand how you can do that that many times very rude will not go back.
They don't verify your insurance before your appointment and still want you to go ahead with exam and picking out glasses.
I just finished an examand appt at the Lady Lake location(My first full eye exam-I am 60 years old) . I would just like to say how absolutely wonderful everyone was, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Brandy was a true light, such a joy to speak with and answered my questions clearly. Thank you all!!! I can't wait to get my glasses! Diane Wolfe
Turned me away for eye infection. Said they only do eyeglass exams. Doesnt that violate their hippocratic oath? I'm suffering and this is supposed to be my eye doctor and eye infections can be easily referred to a pharmacy, in less time than it takes to do eye exam.
Griffin did an excellent job in taking care of me when I needed a pair of glasses replaced. Highly recommend this location and staff
Eye Doctor's Optical Outlets in Leesburg is the worst eye place I've been to in 74 years. They took my expensive Polo glasses that I loved and mangled them. They put in lenses that I can't see with. Absolutely the worst.
I came in and couldn’t see. Now I’m at 20/20 this is the place to go for your vision needs
Very good
The optometrist is pleasant & does his job well but the rest staff that “helps” with placing orders & check in are extremely rude, not willing to help & very unprofessional. I would never go back nor recommend going to anyone after my experience there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
