My husband experienced severe back pain while in home dialysis. Dr. Gulatti ignored his discomfort and thought he was pretending to be in pain. My husband was no longer able to go fishing, sold his boat and suffered for months. This is not the life style of a man pretending to be in constant pain. Dr. Gulati is incompetent , lacks compassion and medical knowledge.

My husband was on peritoneal dialysis and a patient of Dr. Gulati for several months. The first few months on dialysis went very well. Unfortunately, my husband began to experience back pain during the 5th month Dr. Gulati refused to recognize the pain my husband experienced. He acted as if my husband was making up the pain and denied it could be at all related to kidney disease. Any internet search involving the words peritoneal dialysis and back pain result in numerous articles siting back pain as being a complication of peritoneal dialysis. At each visit, my husband explained the pain was getting worse. He was no longer able to bike ride. He gave up fishing and eventually sold his boat. Dr Gulati still reused to address any pain issues and gave the impression he felt my husband was imagining the pain. I would strongly recommend anyone in need of a nephrologist, avoid Dr. Gulati. He lacks compassions and any knowledge to address patient's symptoms. I only checked 1 star because I was unable to submit this review without providing a rating. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Pleasant and always wanting to do what is best for his patients. He takes the time to answer all questions and concerns the patient and family have. He has been my father's nephrologist since we met him and we are happy with him.

Exceptional!! We are really thankful with God first and doctor Gulati.Almost three months ago my sister was with kidney failure and in the hospital. In the hospital at the beginning they wanted to do a procedure to know but, her hemoglobins was very low. They said in her condition they can not do it unless she accept some treatment that for her conscience she doesn’t accept. So one of the doctor told us we have to take her home, they can’t do anything there for her. But thank God doctor Gulati came in the morning and talk to us and gave us an alternative that we were almost crying and seeing a better future For her and the family. And thanks to that my sister is being recovery better and better with dialysis and other treatments. Thank you thank you.
