Hope Hospice's Online Review Report Card

Hope Hospice came out to evaluate my mom and took her on the same day. She had dementia and kidney cancer. They were all very good to her. She really liked all of them. They kept her pain and suffering down to a minimum. They helped her to keep her dignity and independence. They truly are angels. I have no idea how I would have gotten through this without them. They truely are amazing during this time of life. Do not hesitate to contact them to see what they offer. Every case is personalized. They are amazing!

My mother had Alzheimer’s. It was an insufferable experience. My mother stopped eating and drinking 2 days before I asked for a hospice evaluation at her memory care unit. They showed up that very same day. They treated my mother as if she was one of their family members. They educated my family as what was to come. I don’t know how I would have made through her death without them. You must consider this most excellent care for the end days of your loved one. I still receive letters and phone calls wanting to know how I’m doing. I wish I could name them all... they were wonderful. After my mother passed, they all reached out to me and gave me huge hugs!

My sister suffered a stroke March 18, 2020 , just as hospitals where beginning to lockdown. She spent 77 days in the hospital with only FaceTime contact with family. We brought her home on May 6, and were able to are for her until May 25. Hope Hospice came to evaluate her for respite care, so we could have break. They transferred her that same day. I stayed the first night. It’s difficult to give over my duties to someone else. The nurses were so caring. They checked on her regularly through the night. We could come and go as we pleased, having our temps checked upon entering and wearing face masks. We chatted with the staff as they went about their duties. They were interested in knowing about my little sister. We told them stories about her. Kathy passed away on June 4 in Hope Hospice. I am so grateful for the care and dignity Hope Hospice gave my dear sister Kathy in her final days and the care and comfort they afforded the family.

My mom passed away by there just two days ago. They were wonderful and caring for her and she was able to go see Jesus with a very peaceful spirit thanks to the outstanding care and calm atmosphere.So grateful for them!

The staff at Hope, from the doctors to the janitors, were wonderful, kind and compassionate. I'm so grateful that there are people who are able to take care of those at the end of life - and their families. My mom passed away at Hope in April of 2017 after a week of palliative care. We were lucky that a social worker through Lee Health put us in touch with Hospice. We tranferred my mom to the Lehigh facility on Sunday and she passed less than 24 hours later. I cannot say enough good things about how kind and caring to staff was.Mom's wish was to die at home. While that wasn't possible, the Hospice facility gave her the homelike setting where she was kept comfortable. I would recommend this facility to anyone.
