List of Linda Nguyen's Reviews
Got a Pap smear at 1clinic... she never me called me back for my results. It's been 6 months.
Linda Nguyen has no interest in you, your health or your medical issues or your valuable time. She does have an interest in dealing with ONE issue per visit (which is approximately 2-3 mins), SEVERAL follow up appointments and your wallet. Remember those mean, uncaring, judgmental people back in school, that's how your appointment will feel. Run don't walk and find somewhere else.
She only cares about making money. If you want skincare advice, go to a real dermatologist. Somebody needs to report her sneaky antics do CPSO.
In it for the money, which apparently is all in cosmetic treatments and procedures. Isn't even very good at it while being completely overpriced. She's the kind of doctor that will point out a million things wrong with your face to upsell you... does not operate like a real doctor-- that is, in accordance with basic ethics, and is not in it to heal people.
Horrible doctor. Tries to stroke her own ego. Unhelpful
A sad as it may be the comments are so very true. Please everyone I beg you, find another doctor. Going to this clinic is a waste of your time. I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but I can’t with this. Dr. Nguyen does not care about your sickness or illness, I still don’t understand why she has a walk in clinic, all she cares about is her elite clientele and cosmetic services. Do not go here
I've been a patient with Dr. Nguyen since I moved to Toronto where I first met her while she was practicing at a walk-in clinic. As knowledgeable as Dr. Nguyen is, I'm choosing to no longer to be her patient because I think this clinic has lost sight of its mission to provide preventative healthcare in the midst of offering botox and laser services. I think the reviews of this place are a bit indicative of this as well...5 stars for aesthetic/ cosmetic services....1 star for actual healthcare services. As 1Clinic has grown it feels much more like a place where you duck in and out to anonymously get some fillers rather than a warm place where you can feel comfortable confiding in your doctor. Overall this clinic wasn't a good fit for me. The decor aims to be insta-worthy and I couldn't help but find it slightly bizarre that my nurse was decked out with fake eyelashes and 4 inch heels while taking my blood pressure. I'd also recommend sound-proofing your rooms...I couldn't help but overhear the full conversation/ consultation going on right next door to me. I've experienced a few blips in communication and customer service (e.g. had an appointment canceled on me and they failed to notify me so I showed up and waited 40 minutes before being sent home without being seen; just in my last appointment one of the ladies at the front snapped at me then apologized to me several times - probably after seeing how bewildered I looked?). These were all things I was ready to put behind as I don't work far away and the convenience and benefit of Dr. Nguyen having my medical history were all things that kept me coming back. I am sure this review will get a response from the clinic telling me they will be in touch to discuss. I am sure they will not follow-up and I will not be contacted. Unfortunately now it's time for me to part ways with this place. Good luck 1Clinic! Edit for 2020: I've contacted this clinic several times now to unenroll with Dr. Nguyen so that I can access Ontario's Health Care Connect services to find a new family doctor. They have told me twice that they will complete this but I was still having issues accessing Health Care Connect. In order to get this service, patients cannot currently be enrolled with a family doctor. Finally I called Health Care Connect and lo and behold 1Clinic had failed to unenroll me and was preventing me from accessing a new family doctor. This clinic is still causing me issues even when I've tried to leave them.
I wish there was a negative start that I could give this place. TERRIBLE experience with this clinic. Staffs are beyond rude and helpless. Dr Rachel is absolutely terrible! She's careless and only deals with one issue per call!!!!! No sympathy whatsoever! The appointment times and waiting are horrible. I got pregnant recently and noticed some symptom that could have been potentially a sign of ectopic pregnancy!! I called the clinic 1 million times and nobody picked up! I finally made my way to downtown and asked the staffs to schedule an urgent time with Dr Rachel. I've been told that she doesn't have any appointments till Jan (literally two months). I expressed its an urgent issue and being told that basically it is what it is and she only talks with me if this is an old issue and not taking any new issues for her patients till new year!!!!!!!! wth this even means? I then asked so you're basically telling me to go to a walking clinic with my urgent matter? The receptionist told me with such an attitude that this is my choice! I then asked that my file to be closed with this Dr. I then got a few days after that in order for them to close my file with Rachel, my OHIP needs to be an updated OHIP. I asked a lawyer friend and he advised me that they should close my file upon my request and having and updated OHIP (which btw is requested but not received yet) is not in accordance with any policies. THEY ARE JUST THE WORST!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!
I am not surpised by what I have seen here. I went to Dr. Linda Nguyen for a pap smear. Without asking my consent she told me that a student would be conducting the papsmear. The student was inexperienced (she said that it was the student's first time performing a pap smear) the student was visible nervous and shakey and the exam was more painful than usual as a result. I should have had an option to decline to have such a procedure performed by someone with little or no experience. There was no notice or sign up stating that students were working at the clinic and would be observing or conducting medical exams and procedures. Dr. Nguyen did not observe the student as the student conducted the exam. she spent the entire time on the computer entering information. It is clear to me that this doctor took one look at my non-binary gender queer black body and did not want to "get her hands dirty". This person should not be practising medicine. Just awful. I wanted to complain to the Ontario college of surgeons but did not have the time and energy to deal with the bureaucracy.
Only went for a meet-and-greet appointment but it told me everything I needed to know. The reviews here are absolutely right, she is dismissive and rude and I have never ran so fast out of a doctor's office. Luckily I had no immediate medical concerns other than looking for a family doctor I could trust. All she talked about was her 'skin assessment' that I needed to book so she could recommend skin treatments. How is she a family doctor?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
