List of Kellie Mosley- Mendez's Reviews
I've been living with my psoriasis for 20 years and yesterday was my first visit. The doctor Immediately went to work to help me. Very professional and happy to answer my questions. Grateful I found a good dermatologist and happy with Waters Edge.
As a firefighter I make it a point to get checked every 6 months because of how much I'm in the sun. Dr. Mosley is nothing but kind, professional, and polite. Im not sure about the negative reviews that she has received but that was not my experience in anyway!! Never going to another Dermatologist!
Horrific. Terrible bedside manner, I've literally never experienced worse. My son's father brought him here bc it's in the neighborhood. He had two terrible experiences here, with liquid nitrogen and bettle juice applications to the skin. And, he's been left with loads of scars around the elbows and knees. He was in pain for several days afterward. When I was finally able to bring him myself to find out more about what exactly was going on with his skin - what is this, what's causing it, why it's spreading, how can we prevent it, alternative options ... all she wanted to do was quickly burn these things off without further discussion (this is traumatic for a child btw). I was given quite an attitude when we decided to leave without any procedure. Upon leaving, the receptionists commented about my 7 year old literally screaming for HELP the last two times. Switching doctors... No thanks!!!
Worst experienced ever, she didn’t even look, my insurance was ambetter and she overview my concerns and didn’t even use a lamp. Only oversaw and said good, good, no problem you are done. If you want to have warn removed is $250 for 10 i said no right now thank you. She said do you want me to remove two in your hands she sprayed did not say how much was it and said you are done. I said will you report back to primary no we don’t do that.To check out they said $125. Office never said my insurance did not cover the visit even though tjey accepted the insurance.Charged my card and the whole visit didn’t last more than 4 min.Find a profesional that care for patient. Run away this office
overall bad dermatologist . doesn't spend time with patient and just wants to rush and sell her products.
Bad. Used to see this “dermatologist “ back when she was at the Miami lakes location and none of her treatments worked to help my acne then. On top she burned my eyebrow with a laser that ruined me for many years. Eventually getting an eyebrow transplant. Her assistant helping her was also clueless in what she was doing. Luckily I have found a few great and actual dermatologists that I go to now.
I wish I would have read the other reviews before going here. The office is fairly nice and the receptionist was very pleasant but that’s about it. Dr. Mosley-Mendez is by far the worst experience I’ve had with a dr ever. She started the appointment late and the complained about the number of concerns I had saying rudely that I might have to schedule another appt! She barely looked at my skin, was arrogant, condescending and stayed in the room for all of ten minutes. It’s also been three business days and my medications still haven’t been called into the pharmacy. I’m not sure how a dr can have this many bad reviews and still have a job with this practice. She’s the absolute worst!
Dr. Mosley-Mendez was probably one of the worst doctors I've ever seen. Look at other website reviews she has. She had terrible bedside manners, and I do not recommend her to anyone. She did not give me a chance to speak and express my concerns, and didn't even give me a chance to understand or ask questions about a procedure that I needed done. Thankfully I didn't go through with it and came back the next day and saw a great and amazing Dr in the same office, her name was Jennifer. Everyone in the office is aware of this so you can ask just anyone and you'll hear it for yourselves.
My experience with Dr. Mosley at Waters edge dermatology has been very disappointing and unpleasant. I am 14 and was looking for a dermatologist to help me treat my acne with a well built skin care routine. When I first came in, the doctor was very quick to assume things of my skin and didn’t ask me about my previous experience with skincare treatments. She ended up barely asking me any questions and gave me a set of products just based off of a glance of my face. While using her products she prescribed, I found that it was very hard to use them without getting irritated or flaky skin. I was very committed to the skin care routine she gave me but still saw no improvement of my skin if not worse after 2 months. After the 2 months of using the products she prescribed, I had another appointment with her. She had little to no respect for me and was very rude to me after I suggested that she might be incorrect about not using a moisturizer on my skin even though I do have oily skin. After the appointment, she prescribed a different type of cleanser. I decided to look at the ingredients this time using a guide made by a professional skincare specialist. According to research, most of the ingredients in the cleanser were not good for oily skin and in the past my skin has reacted sensitively to them. After my second appointment I decided that I would not return to waters edge dermatology.I hope that Dr. Mosley learns to be more respectful to her clients and gets to know about their skin better. I do not recommend this dermatologist for any sort of treatment for acne, but maybe she is better in different fields of dermatology.
Dr. Kellie Mendez was rude and had an overwhelming sense of entitlement. She came in the room for all of 30 seconds with an attitude. I DO NOT recommend her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
