I have been a patient of Dr. Shaffers’ for the past 8 yrs. My previous PCP of 35 yrs. retired, & thought I was so fortunate to find Dr. Shaffer. Up until the last 2 yrs, he was a good listener and empathetic. Recently he became quite angry with me regarding an EKG for a pre-op procedure after I had been instructed by his triage nurse that it would not be a problem to have this done during my next appointment with him. Dr. Shaffer was very rude, stating this procedure would put his office behind.

Worst office staff I have ever encountered. The people who answer the phones are flat out rude. The doc is very nice, that's all he has going for his office.

My son is 22 and has severe autism. I had a bad experience with another local doctor a few yrs ago and found Dr. Shaffer by accident. Since that time, our entire family has switched over to his primary care. We love him and his staff. I recommend them to all my friends and neighbors.
