Dr Bernardo put a quick diagnosis on my sonHe told us he was on the spectrumMy husband and I were skepticalAnd asked for a second opinionOur son is not autisticI wrote a bad review online , and the staff called me to remove it !My Husband and I argued about this review for a long time , and he we decided to removed it .The reason I write it back , is because someone posted online her experience with this drAnd there were several moms , including meThat had been through the exact the same thing .Should I also mention , that after writing a bad review the office « FIRED US »Yep they sent us a nice letter warning us that we were not welcome anymore .It’s time to speak up

After a great disappointment and wrong diagnosis .I posted a one star review onlineThe dr immediately called me to remove my review!Since my son was under his care at st Mary’s hospitalI got a little scared and deleted this review .When de Flastertein showed up at st Mary to visit my son who just had a spinal tap,All he talked aboutWas the bad review that I posted !My 16 yr old son asked him he he could remain calm and talk about his health issue instead ....Overwhelmed by this dr’s behaviorI posted a public post onlineAnd found out that he did the same things to many more peopleAs of now we have a list of 7 parents who had a bad experience as well, after getting a wrong diagnosis, the posted online , only to be threatened to remove their reviews,There are probably more family in the same situation that are too scared to talk about it .

Hands down... this doctor was earth-changing for us. He helped and continues to help my daughter with debilitating chronic vomiting migraines. He will spend so much time (if you need it) in figuring out what’s best for your child. He’s sweet and has a cute sense of humor. His staff, especially Claudia, is never hard to reach and only a phone call away. He will treat you like family, as well as his whole staff. I told him at our last visit, “ We will follow you to the ends of the earth if you ever had to move!” He’s our #1 doctor, and we are so blessed to have him only a phone call away.

Why this doctor would pick a specialty with children is well beyond me. He is not kind, caring or good at putting children at ease. He made a lot of assumptions about my child and his behavior having only met him and asking him one question...his age.

He has a sign saying "don't confuse google with my medical degree" on his office wall. Too bad his medical degree is so long ago and he has not kept himself abreast of anything since. He needs to get abreast on current thought and treatment of some neurological disorders. He nitpicked every word out of mouth to correct my choice of words and came to a conclusion about my son without ever speaking to him except for asking his age.
