Dr. Haslup removed my gallbladder and fixed my umbilical hernia "on the way out". I had no pain post surgery, took some Motrin at night as a precaution. Everything went as explained and the team was comforting before and after surgery. My questions were answered and I would highly recommend Dr. Haslup as an excellent surgeon. He is focused on what needs to get done and takes the time to answer any medical questions and concerns.

Very satisfied with my visit with Dr. Forrest C. Haslup. The doctor allowed me to tell him all my symptoms and concerns. He also asked if I had questions for him to answer, this is very important to me, to be able to have an open communication with my doctor without feeling any pressure of me taking so much extra time of their time. Dr. Haslup explained to me in a very clear way my problem and my options, he even drew a picture of my stomach...and signed!!! I already scheduled surgery for January 10, 2020 with him as my surgeon. Dr. Haslup recently repaired an epigastric hernia for me. Do not be fooled by his calm and quiet demeanor! He is a master at his craft. I was told by the attending nurse that Dr. Haslup typically takes longer than other surgeons to perform a procedure. She told me that it was because of the care that he takes with each of his patients. Not only did he repair my hernia, but aesthetically, the scar from the incision was flawless. I would recommend Dr. Haslup to anyone needing general surgery. I would also recommend that you watch the short video that he has on the Baycare Medical Group website. He speaks about the trauma that most patients experience prior to surgery. He speaks about how seriously he takes the complexity of performing surgery, and the anxiety that his patients may feel. I feel blessed to have had Dr. Haslup perform my surgery.

I know he is a general surgeon. I had unexpected gallbladder surgery at St. Joseph north hospital. Dr.Haslup is phenomenal! Up front, very informative, and very good at his job. Hospital and staff were great as well. If bad luck finds you and you need a surgeon, i would highly recommend him and the hospital.
