Dr bergh is gone no good byes no heads up Now I'm left looking for a new doc

DR. Bergh was good, however he did a great disservice when he sold the business and sent e-mail the day after(3/28/2020) that he was no longer seeing patients. This left all my appointment with my other drs. in lingo. Had to cancel 3 appointments because nobody at his office would pick up the phone. The one time they did get through the girl was very snippy with them and had to re-schedule for a later date. I don't know who the new dr. is now at Myrtle Ridge. The e-mail only said they had 2 nurse practitioners at the office. No mention of a new dr. I have a new primary care dr. now. I would avoid Myrtle Ridge if you can.

Dr Bergh scheduled a first visit two months in advance and then canceled it the day of the visit. Said he wasn’t taking existing Medicare patients. Incredibly self centered horrible customer attitude

Iv'e been a patient of Dr Bergh for about 3 years...I have to say one of the best Primary Care Doctors I've ever had. Dr Bergh and his staff are so helpful and provide in office testing, call in prescriptions. Very happy being under his care and appt times are usually on time....

I'm really glad I found this place. Ekg's and lab draws in the office, medication refills on time, the doctor or nurse always call back within an hour or two. Hassle-free. It's rare to get that kind of personal attention these days. Five stars.

Tjis doctor was the rudest and most unprofessional doctor i have ever seen my entire life.,. Basically called me a drug addict and a liar and i am none of the 2. He should be fired

I saw Dr. Bergh for the first time this week to establish a primary care doctor. He spent an hour with me, reviewed my hospital records, and did a thorough exam. I am very impressed and happy I was referred to him.

I don't know where the negative reviews came from, but I have been a patient of Dr. Bergh's for many years and he is one of the two best doctors that I have ever had. (the other doctor is deceased). He is excellent at diagnosing problems and will call you after hours to check on you or answer a question. There are very few doctors who will spend time with you and who are accessible when you need them. Jack Bergh is one of them and that is why my whole family entrusts him with their care.

I am shocked at the negative reviews and wonder if these people ever saw Dr. Bergh. He has been my primary care provider for almost 10 years and has always been professional, caring, and very knowledgeable. He frequently calls me at home, after hours, to check on my progress, and Donna, his nurse/receptionist is equally knowledgeable and caring. When needed she is great at finding an open slot. In my 74 years I have had a lot of doctors, and Dr. Bergh ranks right at the top.

My husband and I both have been patients for 10 years and have every confidence in him. He is kind and genuinely cares about his patients.
