I was a walk-in for a hip x-ray. It was busy and had to wait for just a bit but was acknowledged when I came in. The receptionist was very apologetic and helpful. Took all my info and then had a short 10 minute wait time. The x-ray tech was very friendly and efficient as well. The whole process went smoothly.

I have used Tower in Carrollwood for over 20 yrs. I think that speaks to how highly I think of them. Recently though it is taking longer to get appointments. Not real bad, maybe a week or two depending on your type of imaging needed and if your willing to use one of their other locations. I used to be able to get in with in days no longer than a week. I guess the growth of Tampa and our area has a lot to do with it. I know that Tower has steadily added more locations but I did let them know they are in need of a few more now, LOL. 'They have always treated me great from the receptionist to the care team. I highly recommend. They office in Carrollwood is always clean and pleasant. Be prepared for getting a little chilly, just like your doc offices and hospitals though. I usually go with a sweater and fuzzy warm socks in my bag because the wait can sometimes be up to an hour. Tip #2 : Another thing that recently happened to me that the team cannot be prepared for is when one of their techs doesn't make it in and they don't get notice in time to let you know. A call ahead before you leave can maybe help you from experiencing such a scenario, especially if you are going to an office far away from your home base. Tip #3: Always get there 30 min early to get paperwork done or 15 if you got it done it online.Tip #4: If you are getting an MRI for the first time and it is not the open type, request anxiety meds be ok'd by your doc when he writes the prescription. You can always decline it if you don't think you will need it. I experience a bit of pain from my damaged spine when I have to lay still on my back for +20 mins, so I take something to make it easier. Good Luck!

Staff was friendly, yet professional. Completed MRI in a timely manner and provided results within a relatively short period of time. Tower Radiology is highly recommended.

Tower Radiology took over Radiology Associates in Pasco County, Florida. Beware of the fact that they are NOT an in-network provider for those of us who have Florida Blue insurance. I have been going to the same facility in Trinity for years and NOBODY mentioned that Florida Blue was no longer one of their preferred insurance providers! So, for a routine mammogram that would usually be no charge, I now have to pay $300.00! SUPRISE!! No groceries this month!! What a racket!! I will not be back. Ever.3/3/20 UPDATE: I just spoke with a very professional representative in the billing department and they assured me that they have recently contracted with Florida Blue and another popular plan company and my extra out of pocket charges will be zeroed out! This is great news as I really do like the facility and did not want to go elsewhere. Even though the waiting room is usually full the wait is never long and the staff is always so pleasant/professional. Way to go, Laura!! Thank you so much! :) I will change the star rating ASAP.
