I couldn’t say better things about this practice. The receptionists Leah & Amanda go ABOVE & beyond for patients. Dr. Patel is an amazing psychiatrist, he ensures that you feel acknowledged. BUT, Dr. Patel is EXTREMELY LUCKY to have such an amazing receptionist. Ms. Leah was an angel sent directly from the good lord himself. You can tell she truly cares about her patients. If you’re reading this Dr. Patel, Leah & Amanda truly deserves a raise. I pray that you reward her for how much of a positive impact she contributes to your practice.
I was terrified to go to a phychiatrist.but dr Patel was great, very thorough& nice.i recommend him to anyone that is afraid to go to a doctor Go!The ladies at the front desk made me feel welcomed. Thanks to the whole staff after almost 2 weeks im feeling better.thanks again ❤🌻
I have seen Dr. Patel for several years, and have had great care from him and his staff. I would recommend him to anyone needing psychiatric help.
"We do not accept new patients." From an email I received. So glad they can afford to be choosy.
Always listens. Explains what is best for you. Available in emergencies and takes time with his patients
I saw Dr. Patel for probably around 10 years and loved him. He was always very sweet...and understanding if my child had to come with me. After some staff changes I was treated pretty poorly--not by him. My prescriptions took 3 trips to fix and my job nearly fired me for having to make the trips, among fixing other issues. When I left an upset voice-mail his wife ended up getting on the phone and basically told me not to return. I can't even get past them to let him know what happened.
Gonna need an appointment, if I come back to rudeness Again....
I wasted four days attempting to make an appointment with Dr. Patel's office before finding out he was not accepting new patients. First, as a Blue Cross/Blue Shield provider, Dr. Patel is listed on the BCBS website as accepting new patients. Several calls were made to his office Monday morning before finally getting through to voicemail, which indicated a 48-72 delay to return phone calls. I left a message but never got a call back. After waiting 72 hours I called back Thursday morning only to be informed they were not accepting new patients. It is very inconsiderate to not include this information on voicemail when informing callers to expect a 2-3 day delay in a callback. They should also notify any affiliated insurance providers they are not accepting new patients, especially since this office is unable to return phone calls from patients needing care in a timely manner.
I've been seeing dr Patel for over 4 years. Before that, i tried basically almost every other doctor in town. He is the best in town and one of the few who treats ptsd. The ONLY reason i dont give him and his office staff 5 stars is because they dont take insurance.
Excellent helping the client to grow from with in. My Professional experience, he remembers your name, and so much more than just the human chemistry And mind. Client over 15 years...Donna Sue Miller

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
