I was taken in the examination room and tested with the eye chart to see what level I was able to see the letters for possible vision correction. Dr. Cohn preformed the exam for the condition of my eyes and found they were still in the same condition as last year. Verified my reading strength was 2.50 and distance still 20/20.

Richard Cohn is the thinking woman’s eye surgeon. He’s calm, thorough and clear. Summarizes all sides of the issues but does not mansplain. Answers questions directly. Confident. Staff very good. Note- 3% credit card processing fee is passed along to the patient. I brought cash.

Dr. Cohen is the best! After informing my primary dr. that the lights from on coming traffic were very bright when I drove at night and I couldn't see, he said he saw a little cataract in my eyes and suggested I find an ophthalmologist. Because I didn't want to trust my eyes with just anyone, I googled the BEST ophthalmologist near me and Dr. Cohens office came up. After my visit we decided to do the surgery. I later learned he did my cousins laser cataract a while back and she said she could see all the way from Florida to Brooklyn!!! Even my optometrist always asks who did my eyes and when I say Dr Cohn he says he did an excellent job! He's the only ophthalmologist I go to. I think it's 7 years now. I won't trust my eyes anyone else!

The best glaucoma doctor ever- I went to one before him, who “diagnosed” me with glaucoma but Dr. Cohn after reviewing my case said that my pressure is high because my cornea is thick and I have years to live without glaucoma diagnosis. Very thankful that I had avoided unnecessary surgery! 5 stars to the doctor!
