My son had bilateral eye muscle surgery and the results were insist. My son and I are very pleased with Dr. Blumenfeld’s work. Would definitely refer him and the practice.

I had eye muscle surgery three weeks ago and my results have been outstanding. I have not had any pain or discomfort at all. I was unable to drive without having traffic distorted and coming in to me but now it is perfect.

Meticulous & careful, informative & supportive, supremely knowledgeable & wonderfully professional... Dr .Louis Blumenfeld is exactly what every patient wants in a doctor. He answers every question fully. He does his work skillfully. He and his team are highly organized, and still warmly cordial. I've been disappointed in a large number of Ophthalmology specialists. But I have never been disappointed in Orlando, FL but I have never been disappointed in Dr. Blumenfeld. On a 1-10 scale, with 10 being the most positive, Dr. B is a 12!

the three stars are because service with Dr. Blumenfeld is good. If it was for his staff, it would be 1 star. Their office staff leaves a lot to be desired. I was on hold for over 25 minutes on the phone and then a staff member just hung up on me. So frustrating. Just sad to be getting this type of service in 2021.

Dr. Blumenfeld and his entire practice are top notch and so caring with children.

Front desk staff is nasty. Rude, patronizing. When I stated that I had never been spoken to like this by someone, she said absolutely nothing. Amazed actually. Your front desk staff is a reflection of you. And seeing the number of poor reviews about the office staff, this is not the first time. And yet, changes aren't made. Sad actually.

Is anyone ever pick up the calls there , I swear it’s way easier to call and speak with someone from IRS then get to speak with someone from this doctor’s office, hire more people don’t be this cheap. I trying to reschedule appointment for my daughter , for 3 days more then an hours on a line and no one pick any calls , mailbox is full ... service like in third world country . No in third world country more likely it’s better .

I brought my kids to this guy years ago. Now, nearly a decade later, I’m attempting to make an appointment for my youngest and I’m told that we missed a few appointments years ago, so the office administrator put a note in our file that we were dismissed and not to be seen ever again due to a few missed appointments from ten years ago. And of course the office administrator now is someone different, so they don’t know why she did that but are denying my children service anyway. No thank you. Thanks for the reminder on how unprofessional and difficult your office was to deal with. We’ll go elsewhere and avoid the headache. It’s not like this man provides excellent service or anything either, just a ritzy office space with a few rude receptionists. He doesn’t take any extra time, and although he was able to correct my daughters esotropia when she was younger, when I took her back at age 6, he purposely gave her a prescription that reversed what he had done previously, I assume so that he could make an appointment excuse to operate, but I can’t say that definitively, but he actually caused more damage. Parents, if you are going through this, I would suggest trying vision therapy. It has helped my daughter miraculously!

Dr. Blumenfeld and the entire staff at Eye Physicians of Central Florida are in one word.......AMAZING!!! My 3 year old had strabismus that was VERY noticeable, we finally decided on surgery to correct it. Dr. Blumenfeld did a beautiful job, his bedside manner is great, he is patient with both parent and child, he is thorough, it is clear that he is dedicated to his patients, and he explains everything very clearly. Its only been about a week since the surgery, but I couldn’t be happier with the results. I can wholeheartedly recommend the level of care you and/or your child will receive here.
