Almost the exact same thing happened as one of the reviewers described on ratemds.com. He was insensitive to the patient’s needs. He didn’t care about the patient, he didn’t try to find out the cause, he send my loved one to the involuntary psychiatric hold without him even speaking to a psychiatrist - we waited 4 hours for that and it never happened. We came voluntarily seeking help, desperate and in torment - instead we found The Devil in a Christian hospital that only made things worse. Like the other reviewer I was also escorted by security when we both tried to question his decision and explain that my loved one wants to do counseling, not to be sent to a facility. In his eyes I could see he enjoys seeing other people suffer. Please AVOID at all costs!!!

Awesome ER physician . Great bedside manner. Asked me if I had any questions for him ( which most MD’s do not. Told me he will be at hospital all weekend if I am not feeling better.

I walked into Florida Hospital in Lake Mary, Florida feeling absolutely terrible. My doctor was Maxen Baumgardner and I can't say enough wonderful things about this doctor. He has a great bedside manner and explained everything to me on the medications he was going to prescribe to me and was just wonderful! I only wish he had his own private practice because I'd definitely be a patient if his. Thank You Dr. Baumgardner
