List of Rachel Humphrey's Reviews
Dr. Rachel Humphrey is absolutely amazing. I am forever grateful to have had her as my high risk doctor during my pregnancy. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and honest. I highly recommend her!
To those that are complaining, you all do not make sense because I have been going to this office multiple times. I've known her staff and her for years. She and her staff have always been amazing. This time around I had my rainbow baby. When I lost my son, she told me I would never need a referral if I got pregnant again. She kept her word and now I have my babygirl. She helped me through this and is so amazing. Everyone has different experiences but some of y'all are just Karens, plus she is only human but a great one. Love you Dr Humphrey and staff
Dr. Humphrey may be wonderful and she came highly referred but I will never know. I had a horrible experience. I drove into town from vacation because I was told that virtual appointment wasn't possible for a new patient. Since it was critical that I be seen and get answers to high risk questions; I traveled into town for my early morning appointment. Right when I parked I got a text from someone on her team saying that my appt is virtual. The problem is that I was already there at the office, about to head up the steps with a number of medical records. I wanted to meet her in person. I was told the week prior that not only was a virtual never done at their office but that I couldn't email the records. They said I would need to bring them. I showed up and the office was very quiet. I asked if Dr. Humphrey was present and told she was. I was waiting for one hour and finally their manager came out sharing that I couldn't be seen because their nurse would be the only one seeing me and she wasn't available. SAY WHAT? I was never informed that I would be meeting solely with the nurse. I made the long awaited appointment and drove into town for Dr. Humphrey and her expertise. I was told that their intern misunderstood their office policies. They didn't rectify the situation and showed very little empathy. This is the office I would entrust with my care if I became a high risk patient? Are you kidding me? I understand people make mistakes but they didn't show compassion or a willingness to offer solutions. I found it VERY odd that the office was quiet yet they told me they were too busy for me. I wasn't seen for the appt. they agreed to. This was not my fault. I highly recommend people proceed with caution and possibly explore other options or practices. I am very happy now at Orlando Health.
I had an appointment w the doctor which I rescheduled but the doctor still called. She was so kind and attentive. Something came up on my bloodwork for qnatal test and she reassured me it’s highly unlikely baby had anything as they are testing mothers blood. It was such a breath of fresh air talking to her as I’ve been sleepless for days. Thanks doc if anyone I know needs to see high risk I will definitely recommend you. Mind you I didn’t even pay for this visit. Great doc would def recommend. Thanks again
Today would have been my first time seeing Dr. Humphrey had she not denied me care. I had an 8am appointment which is typically a 50 minute ride from my home. My husband and I both drove to this appointment as we both had to work after. We hit unusual traffic with 4 accidents along the way. We finally arrived to our appointment 7 minutes after the 15 minute grace period had ended. I even called the office as soon as they opened to let them know what was going on with traffic. Upon my arrival I was denied care by the doctor and her team. When we arrived, we were THE ONLY people in the office as I was the first appointment of the day. I then asked to speak with the doctor directly. She refused to speak with me. I then continued to wait and speak with staff about why I couldn't be seen when we were told that they schedule each appointment with a 45 minute block of time. If that is the case, than we still had 25 minutes of our appointment time to see the doctor. Again, I asked for 5 of those minutes and was denied. Throughout the hour that my husband and I attempted to speak reason and logic to the staff they lied to us twice and changed their story as to why I couldn't be seen. They also told us we could not wait at the desk for the doctor as our standing there was a HIPAA violation. This is in no way accurate and if this practice is that lax about protecting patient records that you can't check in for an appointment without having been privy to the medical records of other patients, than this practice needs to be investigated. This is a doctor who is supposed to care for women with high risk pregnancies. I am 7 months pregnant and have had a very difficult pregnancy. I can't seem to understand how this "Christian" practice could inflict such stress and trauma on a woman who was 7 minutes late for the first time ever when I all wanted was to be assured that my baby is ok. Instead, she called hospital security to have my husband and I removed from the office. This was the most outrageous turn of events and was completely preventable. Instead I am now dealing with a load of stress I did not need and have not been seen for what should have been my last appointment prior to having my baby. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor and practice that actually cares about ethical treatment of their patients.
You will absolutely not regret choosing this doctor for high risk...shes genuine, caring, knowledgeable, takes her time and I was actually sad when my time was up with her...I'm an RN and truly reccomend her!!!
I’ve worked with doctors professionally for years and have seen my fair share personally. Dr. Humphrey is the most through physician I have ever encountered. Everything about her and her office is high class and top notch. The reasons we saw her were scary but everything she coached us on was more than accurate. I implicitly trust her judgment and opinion. Without her, my baby would have been delivered into the unknown and we would not been able to prepare. We are better off for having Dr. Humphrey in our lives.

No question about it Dr. Humphrey is a very qualified MD. However her personality and bedside manner are severely lacking. I believe that type of knowledge mixed with her personality are best suited in a classroom environment. I agree with the comment that said she is arrogant. It seems she’s so sure of herself that she forgets to come back down to the patients level. Not one visit did we leave and feel comforted. Every visit left us scared and frustrated. I work with the public daily and this is unexceptable behavior. Not a drop of true caring about her patients or empathy. Extremely disappointed.
She took amazing care of me and my daughter while I was pregnant. She told me how things were and didnt try to sugar coat anything which is something I really value in a doctor. She made sure my baby girl was safe above all else. I can never thank her enough. We love Dr. Humphrey!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
