List of Randi Ann Rodrigues's Reviews
Nice doctor who listens and cares about her patients. She gives a lot of time during her exam and doesn’t rush you out. Highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez as your family doctor.
Her office staff is awful now. They are flat out rude and condescending and it reflects horribly on the doctor and AdventHealth as a whole. It’s really a shame that I have to find a new doctor after over a decade of using Dr. Rodrigues.
i have been with dr. rodrigues ever since she took over from dr.carlos velez-munich. My wife and i are both patients of her. We love her! she is very attentive to anything we have to say, I think she genuinely cares about our well-being. I'm very surprised to see some of the negative reviews about her. we have never experienced anything like that at all.
I called back in August to schedule a new patient appointment with Dr Rodrigues and was scheduled for November. 2 days before my appointment (11/8/22) I was called and informed that because of a potential tropical storm the appointment would need to be rescheduled. Although we luckily weren’t affected by the storm, I completely understood. When I called to reschedule, I was told that the next appointment would not be until 3/10/23. I don't understand how I’m not being accommodated better when the office cancelled on me. A 7-month turnaround time from when I initially called to when I can actually be seen is outrageous!
This woman lacks compassion on so many levels. Who cares that its Breast Cancer month….I have history of high estrogen and family history of breast cancer. She wouldn’t order blood work to continue monitoring in a preventive treatment way. However, she looked me dead in my eyes and told me I’m killing myself and my liver by taking ibuprofen once in a while without ever looking at any blood work or examining me. Ibuprofen doesn’t process through the liver though, guess she didn’t learn that in med school. I waited three months for an appointment and was very clear about my needs for this appointment and she apparently has a policy of not testing for high estrogen with symptoms and a family history of breast cancer. What a waste of my time when I could have been going elsewhere.
I was scheduled as a new patient for 11/9/22 and was called the day before to let me know that because of a tropical storm the appointment would need to be pushed back a few days (completely understandable). I was informed that I would receive a call on 11/11/22. After not receiving a phone call, I imagined the storm set them back. I waited until 11/15/22 and called the office. I was informed that the next appointment would not be until 3/23/23. I don't understand how I went from having an appointment scheduled on 11/9/22 being reschedule due to a storm until 3/23/23. Very unprofessional not to give me a call back like I was told, but then to push it out four months with no explanation other than, "that's the next available appointment."
I started seeing Dr. Rodrigues 4 years ago, she had great ratings and was close to home. She has a great personality but the more I saw her and the sicker I got the more I knew I needed to see another Dr. I had bad feelings and planned on transferring but looking for a new Dr. was something that I wasn't excited about. The last straw was my last appt. I went in for a sick visit. I literally waited an hour to be seen and when Dr. Rodrigues finally came in, she spent 2 mins with me, rushed me to the front desk and told me that I needed to schedule a 30 min visit instead of the 15 min visit that HER scheduler scheduled me for who KNEW exactly what I was coming in for and said that she talked to Dr. Rodrigues before she scheduled it. So after being escorted to the checkout desk and her refusing to treat me for what I came in for, she told her receptionist to schedule me for a 30 min follow up appt. Her next available appt. was 2 months later, so I said to the receptionist what am I supposed to do for 2 months....she proceeds to tell me that they only treat one sickness per visit and I could go around the corner to the other Dr. in the building and see it they take walkins. Seriously, where do they do that at....I've never be so upset and appalled in my life and then they had the nerve to send me a $200.00 bill for literally being in her presence for 2 mins and no medical help. I left and it just didn't sit right with me so I called the complaint line twice and no one at Advent Health ever called me back. I also ended up in Urgent Care the following week. If you are looking for a real and thorough Dr. that cares about their patients and their patients health this Dr. is not for you. This Dr. nor Advent Health adhere to their Mission Statement. I finally found a good Dr. outside of Advent Health that has restored my faith in the medical system. With him I am a name and not a 2 min timeslot and he has gotten to the root of my medical issues and has me on the path to recovery.
Dr. Rodrigues is a very kind, compassionate caregiver. I met her over 15 years ago when she was in private practice and knew from that moment that I wanted her to be my Primary Care giver. She has always been knowledgeable, thorough and attentive to my needs. I love the fact that she's on top of getting my regularly scheduled screenings done and that she monitors me health from head to toe. My adult children have also chosen her as their Primary Care doctor. I will be her patient until she retires or moves out of the area. She is the best, hands down!
I moved to central Fl 2 years ago and chose Dr. Rodrigues as my provider after reading her bio. I figured I’d see her and then make a decision about signing on as a patient. I’ve worked in hospitals for many years and know many providers (not in FL though) and Dr. Rodrigues is among the top caregivers in my opinion. She is extremely thorough and explains all test results in easy to understand terms. She always asks if I have any questions or concerns. Her personality is refreshing. Having her as my primary care doctor is one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
