Vision Source Maitland's Online Review Report Card

Excellent experience at Maitland Vision Source with Dr. Patel & the entire team. My husband was fitted for glasses, I received both glasses and contacts, and my 12-year-old daughter was transitioning to contacts after 6 years in glasses. Dr. Patel was wonderful with all of us—especially my daughter. She was patient, calming, and made the experience feel comfortable and stress-free. Thank you to Ginger for taking the time to train my daughter on inserting and removing her contacts—her support made all the difference. David does an exceptional job overseeing the office—everything runs seamlessly, and you can tell there is a strong focus on both efficiency and patient care!

After putting off my optometry appointment for far too many years, despite the increase in purchase of reader glasses at various stores over the past five years, I scheduled one at the Maitland Vision Source. Not only was my optometrist efficient, patient, and knowledgeable, but the entire team was just as wonderful. Ginger, in particular, was amazing in assisting me select a beautiful pair of glasses. Furthermore, when two months later I accidentally scratched the lenses, she was able to get me a replacement expedited in time for a trip. She truly made the entire experience so positive and in a society where the bare minimum is typically embraced, she consistently went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Thank you!!

While the medical exam I received at Vision Source was top notch, I think it’s safe to say a patient’s experience is most directly affected by the service they receive before and after an exam. Vision Source exceeded my expectations during my appointment last week. Not only was I greeted with water and coffee and offered a seat, but Ginger was so well cross-trained and experienced that she measured my prescription lenses before my exam, cleaned my glasses for me, and consulted me on potential new lenses. When I expressed that I really enjoy my current frames, Ginger went out of her way to connect with Ray-Ban and order my new lenses with the same model. She leveraged every website she had, went through every channel, and found me the frames while still keeping me covered by my benefits. I am traveling to the Philippines this week, and I have Ginger and the entire Vision Source team to thank for having my fresh new eyes in time for my trip. This team is beyond, beyond exceptional, and I feel apt to recommend Vision Source to any of my friends because of my experience—so, I thought I’d write a review here to let the internet know just how great that experience was. This establishment is 100% better than the Vision source in Oviedo. The staff is kind and the service is outstanding. Professional!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Patel. Her diagnostic acumen and thoughtful approach have brought real relief to some puzzling eye issues I’ve faced. And Ginger is a gem! She treats clients with genuine warmth and professionalism that makes the whole experience a pleasure. This team consistently delivers excellence in every way.

Don’t like this place or the old lady that thinks she runs the place. The young lady doctor nice but doesn’t seem to know much. The male doctor just gives me the creeps. There are many other vision places in close proximity. Save your time if you don’t have a whole day just to buy glasses 🤷

I had the best experience at Vision Source Maitland thanks to Shannon. Right away, she was super friendly and welcoming. She really took the time to get to know what I was looking for—not just in terms of style but also what would work best for my lifestyle. She even helped me figure out which frames would flatter my face shape. What I appreciated most was how patient Shannon was. I must have tried on so many pairs, but she never made me feel rushed. She explained everything about the lenses and different options in a way that made sense. In the end, I walked out with glasses I absolutely love and feel great wearing. I’m so grateful for Shannon—she turned what could’ve been a stressful decision into a really fun and positive experience. If you’re shopping for glasses, I can’t recommend Shannon at Vision Source Maitland enough. She’s the best!

Shannon did an amazing job with my testing prior to seeing the doctor. She was so sweet and funny and was very patient with me. Dr. Fisher gave me a thorough examination and was very detailed in reporting to me the findings of my tests. I highly recommend Vision Source Maitland.
