I saw Dr. Ackerman after having a miscarriage. He consistently implied that I was blaming myself (after several clarifications from me stating that I knew I hadn't done anything to cause the miscarriage), asked me why I would want to bring a child into this messed up world, told me I should look at it as a blessing because this child could have had complications that may have compromised my relationship with my partner and current child, and told me he knew exactly how I was feeling because his wife had a miscarriage. I walked into the office in tears of sadness and walked out in a fit of rage. I would never recommend this doctor and left the practice altogether because of him.

He was very professional, excellent bed side manor, was very caring, very knowledgeable. Actually gave out his cell phone number for any follow up care or if I had any concerns. He performed laparoscopic surgery on me and made me at ease.

I was hesitant because of previous reviews, now seeing they obviously were wrong. Dr. Ackerman made me feel comfortable and at ease. He is very blunt but in a good way. He took the time to get to know a little about me, he has a personality I guess some people don't like real. Thank you Dr. Ackerman you're the bomb.com

I went to see Dr. Ackerman for my yearly exam and to ask about fertility. Having Lupus I read he had experience. He is the WORST doctor I have ever gone to. EVER! Before I could say anything about my history he said my chance of conceiving is slim to none. No exam had been done yet. During exam he blurted out you have fibroids. Get a hysterectomy! Then said, " It is what it is" and walked out. Went to another doctor and he did all the necessary tests and said I was fine and I conceived.
