Horrible experience while my mother was there dying from cancer. They waited until I left for 15 minutes to get my dog from the vet to turn my mother on her side and take away her oxygen. My mother passed away while I was gone, and when I returned her oxygen was on the floor. Certain nurses tortured my mother when her arm was broken, the staff are incompetent and severely lack empathy and compassion.I would never choose this hospital for any healthcare.

Horrible experience at fisherman's on Tuesday. From the nurse putting in my iv literally digging around with zero care as I moaned and jumped in pain from chest pains and the obvious carelessness of her picking my mask up off the floor and handing it back. She was very short with me and they literally did nothing to help me. Tried to say my chest pains are from cartilage that is swollen when I explained I have pre existing cardio issues. Discharged me and I felt completely worse and am now positive for covid 19. Poor care here do not waste your time.

Would give -0 stars if possible, just had to take my daughter at two in the morning to the emergency room because she had a high fever of 104 and was profusely throwing up, when I got there the first question I was asked was are you Baptist? Then they would not allow both parents in with our daughter, then when the nurse came in he basically told me I was a bad mother for not having Tylenol on hand. I was shocked at the arrogance of both the nurse and the doctor. The doctor told me that my daughter would be fine it’s normal and that I wasted my time coming. He told me I need to immediately get to a Walmart to get medicine, this doctor obviously is not even from the keys or hasn’t lived here long because we’re literally closer to Cuba than a freaking Walmart… by the way I was treated I hope I never have to step foot in this hospital again.

On May 20th, 2021.. My husband suffered a stroke. The staff was so amazing, they took good care of him here then airlifted him to Miami. I cannot say enough …Thank you to the wonderful crew. They truly answered their calling. 💗💗

Can't say enough of the staff at Fishermen's Community Hospital in Marathon, FL, from the receptionist to the medical staff. I had to have a follow-up diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound because of previous suspicious findings. Needless to say I was very nervous, anxious and scared at what could be found, but thankfully God had three angels waiting for me by the names of Frances, Darcie and Angela. Their compassion, kindness and degree of professionalism surpassed all my expectations. Frankly, they all contributed to keeping me calm in an otherwise nerve-racking situation. I compliment Baptist Hospital for hiring such outstanding medical providers. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart.... It is truly amazing how kindness and compassion can touch you to your very soul. Thank you ladies, you are a true asset to your profession.... God Bless!

Visited after throwing my back out on vacation. Was seen immediately by very compassionate and professional staff. Good to know such good care is available in the middle keys.

Had to take my husband here while on vacation. There was some confusion initially as they were moving buildings, but everything after that was great. They were friendly and very efficient!

Brought my friend here with an OB issue while on vacation. Staff was amazing from the moment the nurse held the door open for us as we entered. My friend received the best care from what was obviously a very caring staff. She was very nervous but Jim, her nurse kept joking with her to lighten her fear. Right now they are in a mobile unit but she wouldn’t have received any better care anywhere else. Marathon is lucky by to have such a great facility and staff
