Dr. Gidseg is a very personal doctor and the only one I know who actually cares enough to answer his phone. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to address your concerns.

My father was a patient of Dr. Gidseg’s homecare practice for a year. Never saw the Dr., he sent out an NP. When we really needed to have a visit the NP did not respond to 3 voice messages. Called Dr. # and spoke with on call NP was told she would discuss with Dr. by 8am next day and he would be in touch. By 9:30am called On call NP had not spoke to him. He said he would try to reach NP assigned to case. At 1230 called again said he couldn’t reach NP had no one else to send out so go to ER.

He is a knowledgeable upfront by the medicare book physician who follows the medicare guidelines. He is a mobile dr that also uses nurse practitioners. He promptly returns calls. He tells you like it is. He is a custodial care doctor. He accepts Medicare and Medicaid. He has a team of Medical professionals that follow into the home. He and his team are courteous and are efficient.

since this dr left humana - he is much more reachable - approachable and gives better care to his patients - whomever wrote nasty reviews on him was basing that on humana plan dr - he is much much better and knows his way around the healthcare system to help patients and families in a cordial manner,.. my opinion .. humana and any hmo sucks
