Dr. Hernandez has always been a genuine and selfless physician. He has always displayed a true concern for the well-being of his patients, and I highly recommend his expertise. I truly believe Dr. Hernandez potentially saved my son's life from a staph infection with his immediate diagnosis and insistence for having my son admitted to the hospital for expedited care.

Horrible customer service, the man who answers the phone is very unprofessional. He doesn't even answer the phone correct. He just says hello, I thought i was just calling a regular number. Trying to schedule a visit, he was like... "Well what do you need" "What is the problem" .. Who the heck answers the phone like that at a doctors office. I will drive the 2 hours before I schedule a visit here.

While traveling from out of town my infant daughter began to run a fever. I called Dr. Hernandez’s office as his office was very close to the resort that we were staying at and they had an appointment available that day. I provided my insurance information to the receptionist before arriving to the appointment to ensure that they took our insurance (which I am very glad we did because when we arrived I discovered that they only accept **cash!**). The doctor was very thorough in his thought process for treatment and took his time seeing our daughter. My husband and I certainly felt listened to. His diagnosis and treatment worked perfectly and we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. I have awarded 4 stars instead of 5 simply because the cleanliness of the office. For example, the bathroom had a large piece of drywall missing exposing the AC unit.

If the Insurance was good, it would have been accepted. The parent wanted the doctor to use an insurance that did not cover their child's visit otherwise it would have been accepted. Dr. Hernandez accepts most insurances thousands of time a year.

We are in town on vacation and are concerned about a cough that our one year old has developed. Pertussis was going around in our home town so we wanted to have a test done. We called and spoke to the doctor and he said that if we came in, he could order the test. Dr. Hernandez worked us in right away, which was so great. When we came in, I was informed they only accepted cash payment and they asked me to take care of it before seeing the doctor. The office was very dirty, and I don't have terribly high standards in this regard. When the doctor saw us, he said he is not able to order that test and told us we would have to go the emergency room to get it. We are self pay and only in town one more day so this is not a good option for us. He insisted that we get a chest x-ray but could not give any good reason why this was necessary - it seemed to be just the alternative that he was offering since he had mislead us into believing that he could order the lab test for pertussis. I found him rude, arrogant and disrespectful - treating us as if our role as parents and our knowledge of what is best for our child were irrelevant. If you are the type of parent who wants to be involved in your child's healthcare, we would not recommend Dr. Hernandez.

Terrible customer service. Told us they take our insurance and we got there after driving an hour and then told us they would not and they only accept cash. Don’t go here if you are from out of town
