List of Nch Urgent Care Center- Marco Island's Reviews
Worst facility in the state. DO NOT GO HERE. This place is awful, the doctors must be the ones that are no longer fit to work in the actual hospital, they don't seem to know what they are doing, went in for something very minor, not worth going to a busy overcrowded hospital and they were trying to call an ambulance to come to get you and try and force you to go to NCH hospital, they must get a kickback for each person they send to the hospital, this was the worst Healthcare facility I have ever been to if I could give 0 stars I would. There are multiple other urgent cars on the island, use either of them or cut out the middle man and go straight to the hospital yourself. NCH should be ashamed to put there name on this place.
I am a recently retired physician. I have just now accompanied my friend for him to receive care at this Urgent Care. I was quite impressed. They got him in to see an actual doctor in about ten minutes. They checked him out, tested for Covid and the usual suspects, gave him a prescription and got us out in about two hours. They told him exactly what I would have said, and prescribed exactly as I would have done. It was a simple case, but more important is what they didn't do. They didn't order useless X-rays as other places in Fla have done. They didn't order useless lab tests. Impressively, they had prices for common procedures posted in the waiting room. I heartily approve of this office!
My daughter and I were sick with norovirus. We arrived to a caring receptionist who got a wheelchair for my daughter. We were treated by compassionate caring professionals. They treated us with kindness and medical competency with no waiting. Thank you for your help during a difficult time! You helped is to feel better faster.
NCH Urgent Care in Marco Island provided exceptional care. The front desk associate was very helpful in guiding us through the claims process and check-in. Both the nurse and the doctor were fantastic. Our wait time was less than 10 minutes. They took excellent care of our concerns.
Don't go here for Urgent Care. They falsely advertise this as "Urgent Care" to get you to come but then bill you like a hospital visit which costs 20x more than an urgent care visit. This feels very scam like.
This place is a scam! Billed blue cross over $1500 for a simple injection. In Michigan, we’ve been billed 100 bucks, for the same injection. They never billed us, but now we have a letter from a collection company for $1,000. STAY AWAY
NP Nancy Iott was wonderful!! She was patient, gentle, thorough and very helpful with explaining everything. I was SO GRATEFUL to have received care from her when I was in so much pain. The intake nurse Ed seemed less than friendly but perhaps he was having an off day. The facility was clean and prompt; now we're just waiting on the final bill to see how aggregious the cost might be. 🤞
IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION, DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE! I do not write negative reviews but it feels very important to write this as a warning for others to NOT come here. I visited this urgent care one evening for hives. I have gotten hives before and knew I just needed a prescription for steroids. The doctor told me I needed to have a strep test, despite me saying I did not have a sore throat at all. I should have refused the test, but I was confused and scared they thought something else was wrong so I allowed them to give me a strep test. The strep test came back negative, obviously, and then they gave me liquid steroids to drink and a prescription for steroids to pick up at a pharmacy for the hives. My insurance was billed over $900 for this visit. Insurance was also billed a separate hospital fee of around $200 for my visit to the urgent care. These costs are absolutely outrageous. I was also charged twice for medications given in office even though I was only given medication once. I contacted Billing through MyChart with the questions/concerns I had. They did not answer any of my questions about WHY I was charged the way I was charged. I also reached out for help via the email that the urgent care lists when they respond to negative reviews on google and they did not respond. If this review can help even one other person make a better decision than me and choose a different place to get care, I'll be happy. Again, if you have ANY OTHER OPTION, DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE.
If I could put zero stars, I would. My 7 month old and I went to be seen because we were both ill. I suspected an ear infection for him and sinus infection for me. We were both miserable. The horrible experience started when they weighed my son and I asked what he weighed because I was curious if he had lost much weight after not having eaten well the week leading up to our visit. I was met with "we are not here to assess his weight loss, you will need to discuss that with his pediatrician." I was not asking for their assessment. As a mother, I wanted to know my son's weight. I was never told. For my son, the Dr. looked in one ear and confirmed an ear infection. I had to ask her to look in the second ear. She asked why it mattered to which I replied I would like to know if both were infected or just one. He also had a lingering cough for months and I was wanting a check on his lungs. Again, I had to ask and was met with "I thought we were looking into an ear infection." Um, yes...but I am concerned about his lungs. Are you kidding me!? For me, she said she wouldn't even consider assessing me for a sinus infection because I hadn't been sick for 10 days. She then told me to just take allergy medication. I reminded her I was nursing and thought allergy medication impacted milk supply to which she told me she "does not have enough time to look into that for me and I need to do my own research to decide to take it or not." REPULSIVE. There was more that happened but I will leave it at that for the visit details. Both bills came, even for me who she didn't even assess. They were high. Tried to fight them, was met with more ridiculousness by the customer care team who even confused me with another patient and forgot I had even called previously to discuss my experience. I had to then follow up a third time to which he admitted he "forgot to submit my information" and requested I re-share my experience with him. UNREAL. I have never experienced something so awful, unprofessional, and ridiculous. I fear for any future patients that go here, especially the elderly community who will be totally taken advantage of after seeing how my INFANT was treated.
DO NOT go here unless you want a large bill after insurance. Charged over $2000 for sciatica nerve pain, 2 shots in rear and 2 prescriptions. Also beware the center may be in your insurance plan but they staff with doctors who are out of network.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
