List of David Saltzman's Reviews
We have been with Doctor Saltzman for many years and found him to be the best doctor that we ever had. He is smart and caring and can pick up issues that other doctors would miss. Highly recommend him!
Dr Saltzmzn is the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He not only was a life saver to me, he also became my husband's doctor as well as my daughters and became a life saver for them as well. My respect for him is at the highest level. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Saltzman became my Pulmonary Specialist in 2008. In 2015 my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. Dr. Saltzman then became her Pulmonologist and treated her with kindness, dignity and respect. He is a wonderful doctor. They don't make doctors like him anymore and I'm grateful to have found him.
I have been a patient of Dr Saltzman for 10 years. He treats his patients like people, not numbers. He is knowledgeable, caring and answers your questions. I doctor shopped for a long time. I found what I needed with him and would definitely recommend him to anyone. In fact I have recommended him to others who are very happy with him as well.
I'm leaving his practice. Trying to get a referral is virtually impossible. I have to call Oddness his referral coordinator at least ten times to get one. The last straw was when I surgery two different times and had to contact her supervisor the day before the follow up appointment because after a two weeks of request the referral had still not been fulfilled and no call as to why. If you are required to see specialist, RUN, don't walk away from this practice.
He always goes thru my entire file…puts 2 and 2 together…asks questions. Never seems to leave a potential stone unturned.
I first met Dr Saltzman last year when, at the request of my husband's primary physician, he followed my husband as a pulmonary specialist during an urgent and distressing week-long hospitalization for a stubborn case of pneumonia that multiple weeks of aggressive out patient care had failed to resolve. We were both extremely impressed with Dr Saltzman's thorough, prompt, kind and gentle bedside manner. The holistic approach he took in not just focusing on (improving) my husband's lung health, but more broadly to caring for all of my husband's needs, acute and otherwise, was a huge relief and quite refreshing. He helped us to address multiple issues and to plan for my husband's follow-up and ongoing care, once out of the hospital. He was the coordinator of ALL care and, thankfully, the only point of contact in the hospital that we ever needed to deal with. One year later, when I suddenly had an acute and very out-of-the-ordinary pulmonary need of my own, after several urgent care clinic visits (no primary physician of my own), I was referred to a pulmonologist for additional care. Dr Saltzman immediately came to mind. Despite the fact that we live outside of Broward County, I decided to see him for my pulmonary care needs since we'd come away with such a positive impression. It was then that I learned that Dr Saltzman is also board certified in internal medicine. He and his staff were nothing but kind, friendly and helpful in getting me cared for as quickly as possible.SO... I now (proudly) have a new primary care physician who I absolutely adore and, despite the fact that it's quite a hike to get to his office, it has been well worth the drive to have Dr Saltzman caring for me.Having a consistent, steady physician like Dr Saltzman, who genuinely cares about the health and well-being of his patients, and who provides that care in such a gentle, soft-spoken and unhurried way is a wonderful find.
Terrrific doctor and wonderful human being.
I've been a patient for almost 20 years. I trust him with my life, as I have a multitude of health problems and he keeps me alive and for the most part healthy. As far as I'm concerned there is no better Doctor and I don't look forward to the day he retires.
Dr. Saltzman is great. I have gone to him for years and find that he always takes the time to sit with me. He is usually behind, but it is worth it. He terminated from my new insurance and I still keep him...that is how much I respect him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
