My husband was diagnosed with a 6 centimeter aortic anurism after being admitted to Northwest Hospital for a completely different problem. Dr. Akuma was on call and it was a blessing that he was . He was kind, thorough and professional. He performed Endovascular surgery. The recovery was amazingly short. The staff at the hospital and the staff at his office are friendly, welcoming, and thorough. Their kindness eased my fears and I am blessed.

On October 25th an emergency surgery (Fasciotomy) was done following left hip replacement that developed a compartment syndrome. Dr Akuma who diagnosed the problem was very concerned, attentive ,compassionate and professional throughout my recovery process. I would strongly recommend him to anyone who needs his expertise. HELLO GOOD AFTERNOON. I WANT TO LET YOU KNOW WITH MY COMMENT. THAT TO ANY PERSON WHO IS RECOMMENDED TO SEE DOCTOR AKUMA. DO NOT HAVE ANY DOUBT TO SEE IT. HE IS VERY PROFECTIONAL, VERY CHARISMATIC, ATTENTIVE, LISTENS AND ANSWERS ALL THE DOUBTS THAT THE PATIENT AND FAMILY HAVE. I HAD A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE WITH HIM AND AT LEAST IT HAS GIVEN A VERY GOOD IMPROVEMENT TO MY MOTHER WHO IS HIS PATIENT. I RECOMMEND IT FOR SURE.
