Neil Galindez's Online Review Report Card

My father went to Dr Galindez for bypass surgery and it was the worst decision of his life. My dad is 84 but make no mistake he was still going to the driving range and walking in the park. His oxygenation was 95% on Room air prior to the surgery. Dr Galindez went on vacation immediately after the surgery and we could not reach him except his office coordinator. The doctor said at the pre -op visit he would fix 2 arteries( he didn’t only did 1 )and he was supposed to also fix his arrhythmia (he didn’t do that either) my Dad ended up x1000 worse than prior to the surgery. Within 5 weeks of the surgery he had pleural effusions so large he had to be admitted to hospital and be drained several times, he got cellulitis where they harvested the leg vein, has had labile blood sugar levels to the point that they overdosed him with insulin and he was unresponsive with a sugar level of 31! He can’t even hardly walk with a walker and has so much swelling on his left leg he cant wear his regular shoes. He Is now on oxygen where he was never before and even COLLAPSED at Dr Galindez office at his first post op visit because he was so short of breath and had so much fluid in his lungs. This surgery has caused severe pain and suffering to my Dad and serious mental anguish to my family. Wish he NEVER went to this guy.

The worst. Told me I needed one bypass and I actually needed a quadruple bypass. He said he doesn't do one bypass - only goes in for three or four bypasses. Holy Cross saved my life.

Dr Galindez and staff are amazing. His office especially Jackie his medical assistant are so responsive. He saved my life

Dr. Galindez was caring, answered all my questions,explained my cat scan thoroughly, in terms i could understand. His assistant Jackie was helpful,and set up my next appointment. Very professional. Great visit

Dr. Galindez recently performed a quadruple bypass on me and I couldn’t be happier with the service the knowledge and the follow up that he gave me as I recovered from the surgery he answered all my questions honestly and help me through what was a initially a terrifying experience for me since I’ve never been under the knife but my recovery has been superb and quick and I can’t thank him enough for the wonderful care that he and his associates gave me while at Florida medical Center!!

Dr. Galindez is a very pleasant surgeon. He saved my life and I'm blessed to have chosen him as my surgeon. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I recently had bypass surgery with Dr. Galindez. He was rock solid all the way through recovery. No complaints whatsoever. He presented himself in a straightforward manner and instilled confidence throughout. I would not hesitate to go back to Dr. Galindez for any heart related surgery.

I can't express how grateful I am for Dr. Galindez performing my open heart surgery. He made sure my wife was aware of every step during the surgery. He took the time to visit me everyday while I was in ICU. I also want to thank his staff for doing an outstanding job. They have gone out of their way to make sure I have been recovering well. Thank you all !!
